That might have been me, sorry about that. I was bursting.
  2. Today's scores

He did well yesterday a25, popping up all over the pitch, always imaginative in possession, never gave the ball away.
  3. Today's scores

Pollok had the better of the 1st half Gl, & should have gone in 2, or 3, in front. All they had to show for their efforts was Paul Gallacher tap in after an Adam Forde free kick from 25yds,caused panic in the Glenafton defence. Glens were on top for most of the 2nd half, best natural striker in the west,Mick McCann got an equaliser when he nodded home from close range a terrific cross from the right from Conner Lynas. Chris Dallas put the visitors in front with a well taken penalty kick. Chris made it a good afternoon for his team, when he notched a 3rd in the last minute of the game. Bryan Young was outstanding for Pollok, who put in lots of effort but had a bad afternoon. Glens, poorish in the 1st half, a joy to watch in the 2nd,Craig Menzies, Jamie McKernon, Chris Dallas, & master craftsman,Michael McCann best for them.

  8. lugar v clydebank

Lugar need to get the VAR installed. Definitely the future,no more grey areas.
  9. Talbot vs Pollok

Terrific game of football. Talbot thoroughly deserved their win. At times the link up play between Graham Wilson, & Mark Shankland, was a joy to watch. Stephen Wilson is starting to play with much more confidence, & belief, he scored from the spot, & put in a good shift, breaking up dangerous Pollok moves, & causing trouble for the visitors defence. I thought he was the best player on the pitch this afternoon. High class performance from the home side, very well done. Pollok didn’t do too much wrong, Bryan Wharton being unable to come out for the 2nd half was a massive blow for them. David Gormley is getting some stick, but he is a tremendous player. Only a super Andy Leishman save, kept out a net bound effort from him. He looked fitter than last time out, & I fancy him to get a goal next Saturday. A couple of long range Nicky Little efforts also got big Andy’s full attention. Good day for the Juniors, well done to everyone concerned.

  13. Pollok v Talbot Feb 3rd

    Exactly, the lad is injured.
  14. Pollok v Talbot Feb 3rd

Pollok 1-2 Talbot Not the classic I was expecting, but the visitors didn’t complain as they returned home with all 3 points. Pollok were missing a few regulars, & Jordan Longmuir playing in goal is nowhere near fit. David Gormley played the full game, & did very well. Only a magnificent tackle by a Talbot defender,I think it was William Lyle prevented him from getting an equaliser in the 1st half. Talbot were nearly at full strength, striker Graham Wilson was on the bench. Talbot nearly went close early on,when Mark Shankland played in a clever free kick from the right, which Sean McIlroy, & Ross Harvey on just failed to get on the end of. Talbot took the lead when Mouhamed Niam impeded Jamie Glasgow inside the box, Stephen Wilson scoring from the spot, Jordan diving low towards the pie stall, Stephen shooting high towards the club house. Mark Shankland then burst into the box & fired home from an angle to put Talbot 2 in front. Half time Pollok 0-2 Talbot Talbot flew the lids after half time coming close on 2 occasions in the opening 5mns. Pollok’s Stephen McCluskey, & Gary McCann were both sent off in what was an untidy 2nd half. Andy Forde scored a late goal for 9 man Pollok, when he cooly slotted the ball into the Talbot net from around 12yds.
