  1. Hibs are playing blinder without really trying hard. Can't be many clubs left in the SPFL that haven't angered the self entitled ones since the death of the old club at some point. I have to pay my respects to Hibs at some point in the near future. If I get the chance next season I will take in a few games at Easter Road, haven't been for a few years.
  2. updated: From the information I have we should have for next season (contract ends) - Mark Ridgers (2020), Gary Warren (2019), Coll Donaldson (2020), Brad McKay (2020), Carl Tremarco (2020), Riccardo Calder (2019), Liam Polworth (2019), Charlie Trafford (2020), Joe Chalmers (2019), Zak Elbouzedi (2019), Nathan Austin (2019), George Oakley (2019), Cameron MacKay (2020) Out of contract - Ryan Esson, Stephen Foster, Collin Seedorf, Iain Vigurs, Aaron Doran, Jake Mulraney, Daniel MacKay, Conner Bell. Out on loan - Owain Fon Williams (still contracted for another season), Daniel Hoban, and John Baird (contracts finish end of May)
  3. I'll wait and see how the next couple of weeks pan out and see who is leaving and if rumours about something not very pleasant is about to happen to the club have any substance before I start looking forward to a Championship title next season. But yeah I have cautious optimism about next season given our late season form as the situation currently stands, but that could change.
  4. The song Ally's Tartan Army should have finished his career, why is he still wheeled out 40 f***ing years after that disaster?
  5. I'm sure I heard Jim Spence coughing into his mic like he always does on open all mics, confusingly also he seems to have got lost on his way to Inverness and ended up at East End Park for today's match and still managed to watch the game according to the BBC. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43763116
  6. Hope Vigurs stays on, be a shame to lose him to a huge massive club like Dunfermline Athletic who would have him on less money than he is now. The cheap skates! I wonder if the Tade factor has hit Morton with John Baird who was supposedly in some peoples eyes our best option (or rather our most recognised) up front? Probably just a coincidence that our form has improved while Morton's has dipped, not saying that Baird is by any means responsible he is decent enough for this level however I don't see any other way but him leaving. Probably one of the most underwhelming signings ever at Inverness CT. In other news I see Alan Savage has been up to some back garden shenanigans, building a log cabin allegedly without planning permission much to the annoyance of his neighbours. The log cabin, probably a very interesting feature and would add a touch of class to any large garden with a view though very likely budget stretchingly expensive. However probably unlikely ever to flee to Romania with unpaid speeding fines when unable to financially maintain.
  7. Tinpot outfit claiming to have world class stadium. As you can see world class stadium with a slight issue.
  8. Out on loan - Owain Fon Williams (still contracted for another season), Daniel Hoban, Cameron MacKay and John Baird (contracts finish end of May) Anyone missed out or any corrections? Its difficult for me to assess the players out of contract whether I would prefer that they will be signed up for next season as I have seen very little football this season, though have heard positives about Daniel MacKay and that he is one for the future.
  9. The only relevance they have is tomorrows match. My point is your team has more points than teams who have played the same number of games and with United in the playoff place its all entirely up to Morton to stay there in the playoffs. If the players at Morton started worrying about what everyone else is doing instead of focusing on the task ahead this is going to go very very wrong. It matters not a jot what everyone else is doing unless you are playing them on that day. Some tough games ahead though, if you make it to the playoffs you will have earned and deserved it.
  10. Not exactly, only Morton can shoot themselves in the foot to miss out on the playoffs. Mind you that's a pretty big foot/target that's grown in the last thirty years. However we are probably running out of games, QotS have to win two more games than you and still have to play them. The Pars are one win behind and you don't play them again. So staying in the playoffs is very much up to how Morton perform in the final run in, yours to throw away.
  11. Isn't this normal Dundee weather most of the year round?
  12. The bunting snapped. Heard there has been a fatality in Waterford
  13. A good site with an animation of cloud cover https://www.yr.no/satellitt/europa.html Its got really dark in Inverness over the last 5 minutes almost like dusk, yellow tint to the sky. Could be a thunderstorm with the air being so unstable. Temperature around 10c
  14. Dublincam https://www.earthcam.com/world/ireland/dublin/?cam=templebar
  15. Spooky yellow coloured clouds from where I am and the rooks from the near by woods don't know either to roost or head back out. Very little wind here in Inverness just dark with that yellow tint. Slight burning smell as well.
  16. I've heard that one before, Spike Milligan or Peter Sellers?
  17. Radio Kerry warning people to stay out of the water. Apparently potential Darwin awards for certain Jet skiers and surfers.
  18. I don't see the problem with ordering pizzas, comfort food. The players would have been absolutely gutted with the result, especially if all the effort and opportunities were there in the game and then the roof collapsed after had we came back twice. Can't let the heads go down.
  19. Good point. It could just be Draper short of fitness maybe he was carrying a small injury and probably had been away from the training ground longer, also lacked match sharpness which you can only get by playing 90 minutes, but it did slightly alarm me even just a few months into Robbo's time as manager with us as I well remember Craig Brewster's comments on the squad when he arrived in 2004. When Craig Brewster and his management team took over from Robbo back in 2004 the major issues with the squad were fitness, discipline and lifestyle. Brewster took us to another level when he got our players as fit or even fitter than our rivals. Terry and Mo were also big on fitness, so its a no brainer. Someone at work was saying that a few weeks ago the Caley Thistle squad turned up at the Aquadome, hang about for a bit, didn't do anything and then left. See here, I'm using Robbo's first time as manager as an example, rather than see what he can do now, he should be a better wiser manager than back then. This I'm sure a lot of people will do over the next few months especially if little progress is made. There might not be a problem with fitness in the squad.
  20. Its one of the most inaccurate, boring and over used words that keep getting thrown around every time a group of supporters cause trouble in this country either in the ground or outside, you know the word...Ultras!
  21. I'm waiting for the inevitable 'Werther's Original incident' to happen, its been looking to boil over for a couple of years now. Once boiled sweeties start getting chucked about, leg blankets thrown up in the air in that Main Stand you will know shit is getting real.
  22. It could be due to more pubs opening in Inverness.
