  1. Glad to see your reference to the kitchen, can't be doing with nautical terms once in the boat. None of this decks. deckheads, bulkheads nonsense. Mate got in touch yesterday and plans to visit in June but I'll keep you posted. Is "Kelpie" with you in Edinburgh as it's not been here for weeks?
  2. You doing your own refit? Need the sink redone on mine and mate's letting me down.
  3. Current edition of Private Eye mocking Seamus and friends in its From The Message Boards section: "Get tae f**k ye chelski *** bawbag's - hail hail"
  4. Or go to Pollok's ground, did that yesterday and it was like stepping right back to the 1970's facilities, it's a pity about the lack of 1970's crowds to match.
  5. You abandoned ship? Looked empty this afternoon.
  6. Lots of sympathy expressed on Saturday night about you're having to put up with Sunflower on the next mooring.
  7. Wrong! Several boats have Rosie and Jim on board, but you'll need to make sure you get a beard grown, everybody that owns a canal boat has a beard, especially the women.
  8. Just seen the fixture list for next week's games and once again Sevco seem to be pretending to play a European fixture by playing their cup match with Falkirk on the Thursday evening, with the televised game tomorrow, mirroring Hearts' and 'Well's post-Euro fixture. Getting a bit pathetic if this is going to continue for Sevco's time out of the top flight, or will Elgin, Peterhead and the rest of D3 be playing midweek and Sunday fixtures just like the Glasgow parasites?
  9. Recently visited central Saltcoats and feel it merits its place here.
  10. Sounds like Cosgrove's remaining furious with him, though beginning to calm down.
  11. Somewhat bemused this afternoon to see about 20 people wearing newco tops, wandering among the graves in Craigton Cemetery before getting back onto a tour bus. Some sort of farewell ritual for the club they used to support?
  12. As a fan that's folowed the 'Well for nearly 40 years, including away trips to Europe, I'm not going back if the club just vote the Newco straight back in without securing a fair deal for the ten teams that also make up the SPL.
  13. If Rangers put a £1 surcharge on gates then their loyal fans can pay off the fine in a couple of months.
  14. Wonder who it was? He's not (an active) member of the East of Scotland 'Well supporters.

  15. Saw your post and wondered did I meet you getting off the 35 this afternoon after the Hibs game? Me with Aussie hat and Redskins jacket.

  16. In a similar vein, who did that: http://wck2.companie...61e/compdetails "GLASGOW RANGERS FOOTBALL CLUB 2012 LIMITED"
  17. Footballing links at today's High Court case, representing one of the defendants was the chairman of Cowdenbeath FC, taking notes was a former Partick, Dundee, Dunfermline and Motherwell and player.
  18. Hoping it's on iplayer as I blinked and must have missed the 'Well highlights, including Higdon setting up the 6th goal.
  19. Wonder how many billions it will cost to repair and I hear the people of North Ayrshire have been evacuated due to the explosion?
  20. Ian Flemings books are quite good, I've never read any of them but I do enjoy the James Bond and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang films. Can I be a reading champion now?
  21. Was at this evening's Occupy Edinburgh meeting and despite there being plenty of booze and one or two boozed up protesters, was most disappointed as the group probably couldn't organize a piss up in a brewery.
  22. Most impressed with the artwork all over the info boards on Crammond Island. Proclaiming support for HMFC and abusing many targets it must endear the maroon half of Edinburgh to visitors to this minor tourist attraction.
  23. On BBC Alba the presenter talked about their coverage of this weekend's match between "St Mirren" and "Hibs". Is it only Motherwell with it's Tobar na Mathar that gets translated into Gaelic?
