  1. My dad can batter your dad the last few pages As said in my post match post anyone judging either team in those conditions are basically no right in the head. I'm pretty sure Hamilton and Partick Thistle thought their play off games were done and dusted after one game last season(ours was) and judged the opposition as being pish. The conditions played a part and a little fear, it wasn't a game either team had to win. I reckon it will be neck and neck majority of the season with injuries, suspensions and of course results between us being key I'd also say we are capable of beating Hamilton at whatever their ground is called now and also Hamilton are capable of winning at the TFS. The last two games between us may become games that are must win games for someone, probably not so the first two
  2. I felt Hamilton roughed up MacIver and he didn't hand it back and he was not effective, I'd have had Allan on at least with 20 to go. I personally thought we edged the first half and Hamilton the second albeit none of us looking like scoring. The conditions obviously played a part and I wouldn't judge Hamilton on tonights performance much the same for ourselves. It is only the first quarter, the target now is to produce similar next quarter
  3. Tbf Clydebank in the Stirlingshire cup was always a head scratcher for me.
  4. Was the Stirlingshire cup the last thing you won ?
  5. Thanks for proving you are Clydebank by backing Hamilton.... w**k w**k
  6. Feckn hell Can I ask what happened to that qos galicticos team ? James Fowler ruling the football world and beyond now also ? By fuk we've had fifers and pretend fifers stating our fans were celebrating cup final defeats, you have reached a higher level.....thank you
  7. Saltiest of tears and ironic that the professional foul to do Loy and end his season to your gain. Loy had 12 goals pre being out for the season, seriously was a huge miss for us in the league and the cup, still that disgusting challenge probably cemented QoS play off position to use their swashbuckling football style to failure. The perfect plan should have been to pre plan an injury to one of the opposition players to help like above
  8. Same for both teams that night and qos were at home, the injury to Loy in that game fuked our league season and the final.
  9. Has anyone bragged about losing finals ? Winning division 3 superior...ffs BBC alba realised you won league 3, the rest of Scotland didnt give a fuk, the very same if we do this year. Like this one
  10. Does time make bottling it vanish ? The biggest game between our sides in my time that's all That probably won't change anytime soon
  11. having a smaller squad has stopped much tinkering this season must try harder like this http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/scot_cups/8015682.stm we wont shit it and get the game postponed cough cough
  12. Personally think McGlynn has improved Morrison, he realises he ain't a main striker too that many managers pre have thought otherwise. His workrate was never in question, his decision making and quality of ball in has been, obviously worked on it
  13. Tidser gave the ref something to think about for even attempting a challenge. Another two goals please
  14. I'm sure windscribe give you 10gb free to use their VPN Sign up, test VPN on iPlayer pre game, no joy then ffctv
  15. Tinkering ? We don't have the size of a squad to do so especially this weekend with the injuries we are carrying, I'd guess only Oliver might be in contention to start from last week's 11. Last time at Kelty McGlynn obviously wanted his first choice of Mackie at left back and shoe horned McCann at the right back which was a woeful decision and we got bullied all over the park.
  16. Is he out of contract at the end of the season ? I'd guess Ross has been seeking first team football and this ticked boxes for him. Right of the blue this deal and very happy with it, personally thought Morrison on right and Miller on the left was our best 11.
  17. I was for Presley getting the job probably more to the fact May was rancid as our manager and I'd probably been happy with Jim Leishman(perhaps not) A decent appointment at the start of that season or instead of Presley could've seen a different outcome. The job at the start of that season wasn't for a rookie manager, yogi left us in a real mess player wise and a rebuild was needed. I think he's just picked his local vocabulary, thankfully he's not used soccer I think it's hard to pick a favourite season, the McCall and yogi seasons were two you knew from very early on we would get promoted and were joyful to watch. I'd say any season with McAllister, Stainrod and Latapy were a absolute joy. In regard to this season, I'm all for praise so far but our next few games are the ones that will see real praise. The league won't be lost or won in the next few games but it would be a statement if we opened up a gap after them...not a question
  18. That surely is porn star and not a footballer I said to my mate on Monday that it wouldn't surprise me if we played Oliver up top due to Allan's effectiveness in a lone striker role. I didn't think McGlynn would play the youngsters as suggested on here from the start, I expected Bisland to start and Yeats in midfield probably my only thought to predict McGlynn to be wrong. He obviously sent out a team that could win it and did, not to suggest throwing in a youngster or two couldn't but his mindset was obviously similar to league business in don't expose youngsters in the deep end. I'm sure next round is a Saturday, so it's not a bad thing to be playing week in week out if the winning/undefeated status continues
  19. Extra cash ? Unless the sponsorship money has went up drastically, there won't be extra cash. This cup has a history of teams only making money out of it only if you get to the final. I won't cry if we go out on Tuesday, our squads too light in numbers to risk our league challenge for me
  20. I just don't think Yeats will improve to the levels of the mentioned Hughes and Leahy. I don't think he has the attributes in his game to be anything other than decent cover. I said afore a ball was kicked we can get away with Yeats at right back and I'm still of this opinion but I don't think we would get away with it a league up. The year thing mentioned shouldn't be a thing also, we will have no goalkeeper and half our starting 11 out of contract next year
  21. Hogarth only on a one year contract and doesn't have the No1 jersey could also suggest he's not here for a long time. Both keepers are at a stage of their careers they want first team football, neither have a CV that screams they have achieved much so far. Long has had a couple of mistakes in him so far but his direct play has benefited us. Ederson Man city keeper has mistakes in him but he is the best in EPL for the ball at his feet and distribution, Pep has him in there keeping the fast flow of play going. I feel Hogarth is much slower in that department, he may have been the No1 keeper if it wasn't for injuries but I wouldn't be looking for a keeper swap for now.
  22. I think you'd need an actual head to head race to see who is the slowest between Lawal and Nesbitt. Both ain't got anywhere near the pace of Miller for sure who was just beginning to shine out left.
