  1. We're going to look even more out of place at these European Championships than the last ones. Quite sad really.
  2. Haud on, if England score again (i.e. margin greater than 7) then Scotland could win the tournament with a bonuc points win in Ireland even after losing to Italy? Although England are just looking to shut up shop here.
  3. Absolutely not hollow. Just won in Cardiff for 1st time in 22 years. Deservedly so. Saw the game out brilliantly - so many times havn't done that in recent history.
  4. The blue "People" South of the River Clyde or those in green and white hoops in the East End if you're looking for weird cults m8.
  5. I always found something unsettling about the perma-grinning Klopp. A man who looked like he could feign great enthusiasm about absolutely anything. Inspired a generation of footballing hipsters. Did seem to fit in well at the weird cult which is Liverpool FC.
  6. Game managment by South Africa at the end there was masterful. Scotland squad should have their eyelids taped open and made to watch it on repeat.
  7. This time last year we were just embarking on a 5-game losing streak under Ian McCall, including 4-0 at Firhill against Queen's Park, which did for any title ambitions we had...I still have some patience left with Doolan.
  8. They have become absolute masters at qualifying for tournaments but when they get there, there's usually someone who plays better than them. Time will tell. Italy deservedly won the last European Championship, they were the best team there. Mancini struggled afterwards, but tactically unpicked every team there. Donnaruma, Bonnuci, Chiellini, Veratti, Spinazola, Barella were all excellent.
  9. Is the entire Euro 2024 coverage available in the UK going to be a continual Jude Bellingham circle jerk? Yes, yes it is.
  10. Combat 18 used those numbers for 'A' and 'H' in the alphabet for Adolf Hitler, I think there are similar uses of numbers in Neo-Nazi groups.
  11. Those afternoon ties were not a disaster, only 4-0 would have been really. USA have taken a pumping so far and they know it. Half points no good for them tomorrow, they would have to have the whole top half of the board red tomorrow for it to collapse for Europe.
  12. If this afternoon session finishes 3-1 still fantastic for Europe heading into the final day. Would really have to be 4-0 USA to call it a momentum shift.
  13. Looked it up to remind myself, Brookline and Medinah were both 10-6 going into final day. Even 1 or 1.5 points here for Europe would still make it an exceptional 2 days work.
  14. The woe is us types already giving us JB #10 is GOAT and winning England World Cups. After he's been up against likes of Ryan Porteous and Jack Hendry.
  15. Michael Owen, Wayne Rooney etc. got the same hype. A better team than Scotland should deal better with him.
  16. c***s on this thread just finished saying oh actually Harry Maguire is actually really good. He's a diddy and always has been. Reminds me of Phil Jones, just funnier-looking.
  17. Well, they came close last time, basically have same team this time, but they'll have no home advantage and are due a tougher draw at a tournament at some point. Bellingham is good, but real shite defending from Scotland the difference. Totally pointless game to have this. Agreeing to the delights of England fans giving it ole.
  18. Brian Graham for Greenock is like a beautiful woman far too good for a bitter, inadequate man.
  19. It didn't just 'feel like it', it was actually happening. The common factor, if course, was Alan Archibald. I heard some argue that it was good to actually be leading games at all, and we still picked up some points, but was completely soul-destroying. I think the second late collapse to Rangers in that season was the start of Archibald's decline in earnest, proving he really wasn't quite the manager it was hoped he was.
