Having the bloody cold in July I honestly haven't felt as rough as this in at least 12 years (that's how long ago I left school and it's at least the same time since I felt as rough as this), hangovers included.

Orange Walk in Grangemouth today. There are muppets out to watch the procession wearing Rangers tops yet the Rangers game's on TV in less than half an hour. Hope it pishes down and the fuckers get drownt.

Finding out this morning that I know one of the swine flu victims from Polmont as well as his sister. In fact, it was actually through working with his sister that I know him. I hope he and his wife are both ok long term and there are no long lasting effects. Also, having played 5's for the first time in 2 years last Thursday, I woke up on Friday with really really sore ribs. The pain has been annoying me since but nothing I can't handle until tonight when the pain became excruciating. My sister thinks I should go get it checked out, but as far as I'm concerned it's nothing more than muscular pain and being careful and taking painkillers should see it work itself out. I tend to just grin and bear pain and try doing everything I usually do though this time I really really can't see me playing football again this week or lifting anything heavy at work meaning I'm going to have to rely on older work colleagues who have bad backs to do the things I usually do

Colleagues who make trouble and cause confrontation when there's no need for it. And it's not some daft silly wee lassie, it's a 43 year old woman

Nearly had a huge argument with a work colleague at work late this afternoon. I couldn't understand what she was talking about and was trying to tell her politely she was talking crap. Sadly as I had thought today was Thursday and not Wednesday, the only person talking crap was me

Found out today that our 11 year old dog may only have a matter of weeks left

I lose count each morning of people who are either driving with side lights on or worse - no lights. I can't decide whether to go to a night out tomorrow night 1 minute away from my work. If I do go, I'll be working til 5/5.30, coming home, getting changed to then head back out towards work to then head home afterwards then back out again on Wednesday morning.

Flexi credit limits I'm in credit at work by more than I'm allowed but have got shedloads to do tomorrow and Friday. I've got to go in late so long as I'm in by the core time and leave reasonably early to get my flex down or I automatically lose the excess. Not sure when they think I'll be able to do the work

Have done that before as well a few years back. Take it apart as much as you can and get it on a radiator to dry out. This PTTGYN has probably been posted hundreds of times already but waking up in the morning believing it's the weekend then realising no it's not and you need to get up for work is mine! And annoying bitchy female colleagues who at 30+ still act like schoolgirls getting ready to go to the disco. I swear all I heard between 9 and 10 this morning was stuff about fake tan, dresses, make up, hair, shoes, how much they'll be drinking. It annoyed me so much I decided not to go the Xmas night out tonight.
