I have been a Clan season ticket holder from day one. The sport is coming on in leaps and bounds. It is great to go to a game and be able to have a drink whilst watching the game. There are no boring football references and no signs of any of the baggage that is prevalent in the West of Scotland. For that reason alone it's worth the effort. The Clan have built a solid team this year who still sit top of the league. I expect a close finish but can see them getting pipped. They should, however win the Conference and get a place in the play offs along with Fife and Edinburgh. Hopefully two of them will make the play off weekend like last year. If you haven't been along yet. Give it a go. Especially if you have kids. Most kids love it.

Braehead Clan kicked off their season at home on Saturday. An impressive 6-0 win over Dundee Stars. Even more impressive was the attendance of over 2,500. Sunday saw an away trip to Edinburgh Capitals and a 4-2 victory for The Clan. Good start for Braehead. Cardiff Devils this Saturday. Should be a close, well contested game. Paddy Power offering 3/1 on a Braehead win. I'll have some of that :-)

I really hope the Caps can sort their problems out. Some sort of salary cap coupled with revenue sharing is the only way forward to ensure the league thrives.

Went to both Panthers games. Great first leg, despite the score. Everything you would want from a hockey game. Lead changes, fights etc. Over 2,500 at the game and a fantastic atmosphere. So looked forward to the return but the boys just didn't turn up. Had a blast meeting some other Clan fans and sharing a beer with some Panthers after the game. Great inaugural season. Aladdin Cup win and 5th place finish and able to say we are th best team in Scotland. Will definitely get a season ticket next year and would urge people who are considering taking in a game to go. Be it Braehead, Dundee or Edinburgh. Petition ongoing to get Fife Flyers into the league. Another good move IMO. Go Clan. Bring Bruce back for next year please.

Outstanding performance last night. Although when the lead was down to 2 it was squeaky bum time. Bring on the Panthers.

I took the wife and kids, 16 & 10, to both the opening home games for the Clan. First time for the wee man and he loved it. I hope this is supported locally so we keep the team. People need to get the blinkers off and try something new. It also relieves the boredom of watching the Saints get hupmed every week
