  1. If I were a rich businessman that planned on leaving our stadium, that I don't own, in the next few years and it's a crumbling mess, would I be inclined to do anything other than spend the bare minimum on it? No, no I would not.

That decision has come home to roost now and it's a fucking embarrassment.

We've went from having a reputation of having one of the best surfaces in Scottish football to a pitch that makes Motherwell's old infamous tattiefield look like a bowling green.

    It's quite soul crushing really.

  2. Seems pretty mental to me that we've responded with a statement that basically just stokes the fire if we are already planning on releasing more information later on today.

Our statement, whilst stating it's all just media speculation, doesn't tell us if it's accurate or not. There's no denial in it and the part that says we'll release more info this afternoon suggests that some form of discussions have been taking place whether it's moving stadium or not. Should have just waited until later on today to play our full hand on the matter.

Nah, Cody needs to be winning it himself without any retired lads coming to help him. It would make him look like a bit of a bitch if he needed Stone Cold and John Cena to help him win the big one.

Imagine if a retired legend helped out Stone Cold at Mania 14.

The Backlash 2000 thing made some sense because Austin was still a wrestler and wanted revenge on a noted rival (even though we didnt know HHH had him run down, he'd still been feuding with him right up until that moment), but what beef does Austin have with Roman Reigns? Have they ever interacted?

Just have the usual lads come even the odds with the daft interference and have them brawl to the back to leave Reigns and Cody in the ring for Cody to finish the story.

Nah, that sounds shite in comparison to the glass smashing.

    f**k your logical thinking.

  4. I mean, hopefully with that win against Raith you should have enough about you to get up.

Bizarre that anyone gives a f**k about how many points it takes to win the league. We managed it, you've still got a prime opportunity to f**k it up. The points tally is irrelevant really.

Ah, but, to paraphrase a particularly furious Dundee fan, you weren't there man, you don't understand.  How can you understand when it didnt happen to you?

    You're fucking weird.

Enjoy McIntyre's clusterfuck and enjoy him slowly making your good quality players like McKenna not want to be at Arbroath anymore. I mean, Boruc ahead of Gaston? Great for team spirit that.

Anyways, I'll leave it there if you've got to the point of comparing Campbell at Arbroath with McIntyre at Dundee.

  6. Completely irrelevant story but always remember Cammy Bell saying he found it utterly mental that Rab Douglas would do push ups on the pitch whenever he fluffed a kick as a 'punishment' in order to keep himself disciplined, and obviously to try and ensure he'd be the best he could be at all times and it obviously had fitness benefits. Bell went on to say he didn't really understand why a goalkeeper would do anything like that sort of stuff but fair play basically.

I find it no surprise that Cammy Bell's career as a first choice goalkeeper ended really before he hit 30 with his last decent spell being with United whilst Rab continued until he was 40 in the top flight.

Not really having a pop at Bell at all, just find it weird that he was such a decent talent and it all ended so young for a keeper and maybe it was that sort of mentality.

So why do you not find it weird when we wish our ex manager well, considering the norm for you seems to be tear stricken seethe?

Are you trying to compare Jim McIntyre's reign at Dundee with Dick Campbell's at Arbroath?

That's not weird, that's just fucking mental.

Its funny to see posts like this when you've just given us chapter and verse about how nobody understands the situation at Dundee as a justification for your weird collective obsessive hatred.

Most people did understand it. You lads are just choosing to bury your heads in the sand.

We've had some pretty terrible managers down the years, but no, I don't hold any residual bitterness towards our ex managers.  I'm even weirdly pleased to see the Campbells doing well at East Fife.  I wish all our ex managers well, even the awful ones.

Why would it be weird to see your most successful ever manager that your fans turned on (deservedly or not) at the end do well for himself in his next job and be anything but pleased for him?

Yes well done Ludo, desperate for McIntyre fail. We've had loads of bad managers but can't say i held any weird bitterness against them after they left

I take it this must be your first time having a manager that has previously created such a toxic culture that fan volunteers - some that have been helping the club for decades - have no longer wanted to be part of your club.  The first time you've had a manager that manages to piss off the core of decent players that you have to the point they no longer have any positive feelings for the club after they've been ostracised. The first manager that replaces hard working, limited ability players that will give 100% for spineless shitebags that don't care about anything other than themselves and actively don't try.

As I said at the time, I'm not bitter, I just stated the fact that McIntyre is not only a terrible manager but someone that can take any good feeling left out of a football club in a very short period of time. I warned you and you bleated that I was just being bitter yet the exact same thing is happening here.

You need someone that can inspire folk when the chips are down... you can say it's not McIntyre to blame but he's equally the least inspiring guy in Scottish football. Poisonous figure that will be destroying any feel good figures at the club.

Arbroath were never as bad to be 5-0 down to QP FFS.

We get that you despise him but do you have to keep coming on here to display your bitterness. Nobody on here is interested in Dundee supporters bitter opinions

Yes. Yes, I do. It's a multi-club forum so yes, I will continue to point out the obvious that he's a fucking chronic football manager.

And that's without an ounce of bitterness.
