  1. Since we're debating Shaughnessy - how's he faring compared to the rest of the league in your charts?
  2. We've signed Lamie on a PCA. We currently have Portales, Astley, Ashcroft, Donnelly and the aforementioned Lamie. Unless we plan on having yet another massive season of turnover and have a small fortune to pay people off, then Shaughnessy is making our first 11 next season. Same with Carson on his 3 year deal. And both are quality top flight players - particularly Carson - even if they have had a few hairy moments of late.
  3. Luke Graham got a chance of being a starter for us next season? How is he doing for you lads? How is he as a player?
  4. How's Finlay Allan doing? Got a chance of breaking through with us next season?
  5. Shaughnessy was one of our best players up until January. He's had a tough wee while but Shaughnessy absolutely is part of our side next season.
  6. No. f**k needing to be in Dunfermline every couple of weeks.
  7. Letting Maeda score a hat-trick against you sums up why Livi are bottom tbf.
  8. Brendan has managed to make Kyogo look like a shell of the striker he was in previous seasons tbf. Some going that.
  9. Looking at that starting 11, other than O'Riley, can Celtic claim they've got the genuine best player in the league in their respective position? Granted, they've got a few of their best players out but it's no surprise to see them struggle without CVV, McGregor & Kyogo. The rest of the squad is filled with some amount of shite. Criminal for a club spending the money Celtic are.
  10. Looking at that Celtic line-up: Joe Hart (reputation alone he might, but not ability), Liam Scales & Stephen Welsh don't get into the majority of top 7 sides in this league. On limited impressions, you could maybe add Kuhn & Iwata into that list but certainly not getting into the top 3 or 4 right now based on current form but they may prove to be absolute quality over a longer term. The likes of Johnston and Taylor are decent wing backs at this level but nothing special. To sum up, this Celtic side is full of absolute jobber pish. Massive, massive rebuild whilst they struggle to the title or not. The squad is full of shite for the money Celtic are forking out.
  11. I have two things to say. Firstly, get it fucking up Bonner as he was screaming, 'Yeah, but it's offside, offside!' on the radio. Secondly, if Livi go down, how much are they wanting for Yengi? We will happily give you a bag of tracksuits.
  12. Send me a DM - or just spit names on this thread - as I've not really got a source of info for Cove since they don't have a club forum. I'm very disappointed it's not worked out for Hartley. Genuinely believed he had the potential to be a top, top manager when he was with us and thought he'd rebound once he left us but Falkirk, Hartlepool and now you lads the second time round is just one shitshow too many to recover from.
  13. Michael O'Neil is the only manager that makes all this nonsense make sense right now. Therefore, it won't happen.
  14. Pair Jakubiak with a striker that can actually score goals and you've got an amazing secondary striker for this level.
  15. He's been taken on trial by a few English sides with money to squander. If he stays with us, I'd imagine we'll be aiming to put him out on loan to a Championship side but Docherty (and Bowyer before him) have used him and Jack Wilkie in our pre-season friendlies and our League Cup games so I'm sure he'll be looked at.
  16. Paul Tosh got the footballing ability and the braincell in that sibling pairing.
  17. God forbid Aberdeen punting Warnock gets in the way of their VAR chat. Fucking hell.
  18. Are you not the weird United fan that claims to support Airdrie? I'm sure United win at Tannadice sometimes.
  19. Michael Stewart trying to paint this as being a selfish decision by Warnock because he was eyeing up the job permanently is a bizarre take.
  20. Former Celtic wonderkid that was a superstar for clubs across the country such as Dundee, Ross County, Livingston & Dundee United - some of whom when they were in the second tier and then went on to light up the game by becoming captain of Norwich, gracing the Champions League for Famagusta and then singlehandedly keeping Hertha Berlin in the German top flight despite not being their manager. I want his agent because he has the best in the world.
  21. Time for Aberdeen to do the decent thing since Fotheringham has issued another rallying call as of 2 days ago. He's clearly in the hunt for the job. Go on Dave Cormack. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/mark-fotheringham-declares-celtic-rangers-32293139 'I would really love to put the cat among the pigeons with the Old Firm in the future, and I believe I’m the man to do it. I feel it is more doable now. If I do get one of the bigger jobs in Scotland, then you’ll see someone who is passionate in his belief that you CAN cause Celtic and Rangers problems. I took myself out of my comfort zone as a coach so that, if I ever did come back to work in Scotland, I would approach the challenge with a different perspective to those who have worked here for the past 10 years...I don’t see myself as a risk – the CV is there and there is substance to it.' He even has yet another pop at Neil Warnock: 'I could have been disappointed by the Huddersfield situation, having an owner that pulled the carpet from under my feet. They are another three managers down since I left, with another £7m or £8m down the drain. And the managers that followed me had almost half a million more on wages that I was given. That equates to three or four key players. I’ve got no doubt I would have kept them in the league. I was averaging more than a point a game and, when analysing performances, we were up on possession, recoveries, counters; everything. That was without any investment to bring in my own players and put my own stamp on it.' Interestingly - Warnock says in his last RedTV interview that the new manager could be able to take on the OF and goes one further to say, and I quote, 'They're advanced with the 'odd' one'. Do it.
  22. With the amount of naive American owners we have in this country, it's only a matter of time until someone falls for his bullshit. Cormack is the ideal candidate.
