  1. Motherwell's CEO saying the SPFL is pushing for the game to be played closed doors at Airdrie if postponed again. Imagine they tried to suggest that for the Rangers ga... oh, they would never do that
  2. If you believe any of those 3 scenarios will happen to us next season, then you're deluded. We are well on our way to having a new ground so the league will mump and grump everytime we have a game against the OF then go silent. Just like they've done in recent times.
  3. It was in the paper at the start of the current/end of the last season.
  4. The St Johnstone teuchter groundsman was actually throwing sand at our players as they did a HT warm up under the pretence that he was sanding the pitch. He's a weird guy but it made me laugh.
  5. It's so that when we get the inevitable Rangers tear stained statement, we can say we did everything possible so get it fucking up you and let's take your horrible nonsense to Perth away from our fine city. Thank you.
  6. Out of interest, what was the reaction when we used Tannadice when building the BC and BS against Rangers? I was around for it but can't remember if people were furious or what.
  7. Dens has been called the Scot Foam for about a year now. Our 4 floodlights have giant signs stating this as well. Sounds like it's the easiest money we've ever made if the majority of you are only finding this out now. It was the Kilmac Stadium for about 3 year as well FYI.
  8. The relegated club has to give their stuff to the promoted club therefore, we've got it.
  9. Surprised at that as Docherty was emphasising how 'heavy' the McDiarmid Park pitch was and not conducive to how we want to play. I know that beggars can't be choosers and all that but surprised you'd be the preferred option.
  10. Saw this thread was 'hot' and feared the worst. Thank you, for now at least, Livingston.
  11. If I were a rich businessman that planned on leaving our stadium, that I don't own, in the next few years and it's a crumbling mess, would I be inclined to do anything other than spend the bare minimum on it? No, no I would not. That decision has come home to roost now and it's a fucking embarrassment. We've went from having a reputation of having one of the best surfaces in Scottish football to a pitch that makes Motherwell's old infamous tattiefield look like a bowling green. It's quite soul crushing really.
  12. Seems pretty mental to me that we've responded with a statement that basically just stokes the fire if we are already planning on releasing more information later on today. Our statement, whilst stating it's all just media speculation, doesn't tell us if it's accurate or not. There's no denial in it and the part that says we'll release more info this afternoon suggests that some form of discussions have been taking place whether it's moving stadium or not. Should have just waited until later on today to play our full hand on the matter.
  13. What an endorsement for skyrocketing season ticket prices if we have to move to an alternative stadium just to get our season finished.
  14. Nah, that sounds shite in comparison to the glass smashing. f**k your logical thinking.
  15. Much like your posting style then.
  16. I mean, hopefully with that win against Raith you should have enough about you to get up. Bizarre that anyone gives a f**k about how many points it takes to win the league. We managed it, you've still got a prime opportunity to f**k it up. The points tally is irrelevant really.
  17. Absolute mental long shot, but MJF's first Tweet of 2024 is mentioning WWE. Surely not?!
  18. You're fucking weird. Enjoy McIntyre's clusterfuck and enjoy him slowly making your good quality players like McKenna not want to be at Arbroath anymore. I mean, Boruc ahead of Gaston? Great for team spirit that. Anyways, I'll leave it there if you've got to the point of comparing Campbell at Arbroath with McIntyre at Dundee.
  19. Completely irrelevant story but always remember Cammy Bell saying he found it utterly mental that Rab Douglas would do push ups on the pitch whenever he fluffed a kick as a 'punishment' in order to keep himself disciplined, and obviously to try and ensure he'd be the best he could be at all times and it obviously had fitness benefits. Bell went on to say he didn't really understand why a goalkeeper would do anything like that sort of stuff but fair play basically. I find it no surprise that Cammy Bell's career as a first choice goalkeeper ended really before he hit 30 with his last decent spell being with United whilst Rab continued until he was 40 in the top flight. Not really having a pop at Bell at all, just find it weird that he was such a decent talent and it all ended so young for a keeper and maybe it was that sort of mentality.
  20. Are you trying to compare Jim McIntyre's reign at Dundee with Dick Campbell's at Arbroath? That's not weird, that's just fucking mental.
  21. Most people did understand it. You lads are just choosing to bury your heads in the sand.
  22. Why would it be weird to see your most successful ever manager that your fans turned on (deservedly or not) at the end do well for himself in his next job and be anything but pleased for him?
  23. You can continue labelling me bitter and I'll continue enjoying the shitshow and acting like an arsehole by repeatedly stating, 'I told you so'. Happy days.
