  1. The biggest problem is the fact we rely on him so much as a player.
  2. It will be Willie till the end of the season unless a surprisingly high calibre candidiate shows an interest. I'm happy enough with that. (Willie I mean)
  3. Queens started well and could’ve had a couple of goals through Dobbie and McCabe. Hibs are third in the league so they are going to dominate periods of the match. We need a plan to deal with Boyle down the wing and adapt to the wind in the second half and we can get back into this. But it’s no disgrace to lose to Hibs tonight and to be honest I’m more concerned with the league this season anyway.
  4. Dare I say it but could players like Ayo not wait until the end of the season, see where we end up?!
  5. Two wins in a row and I think it shows that I (and others like me,) were not wrong to see some promise in this team at the start of the season. There’s not a lot wrong going forward. We desperately need some competition for places at the back. It was crazy to go with only two centre halves. And/or a potential replacement for Buchanan. As much as I am in favour of giving the youth a chance and I love seeing home grown players coming through Cowie is still to young for a run in the team IMO
  6. Well the first issue here is the legality of his attendance. And it seems that no matter what his purpose was, he shouldn’t have been there. Even if it’s potential investment. The bigger picture is worse. It was never in the spirit of the rules to have someone like him attending when so many die hards cannot. Even if he is bringing potential investment, do we really want this kind of person associated with our club? I forgave the club for the Rangers vote fiasco which sickened me to the core. Unlike a lot of people on this forum I don’t think the board have done a bad job since then. And I certainly don’t see anyone waiting in the wings that can do a better job. A fan’s takeover would almost certainly end up with a worse off club financially unless backed by rich persons. I fear the damage from this could be even worse than the Rangers vote and I cannot defend this action or the statements so far. The apology was a joke.
  7. Well it was a decent afternoon's entertainment all in. Disappointing second half from us. Ruth looks like a player. I suppose a point away from him isn't the end of the world...
  8. Getting back to the match are we just hanging on for a point here? Really?! Arbroath dominating, we need to see a change here I think
  9. Couldn't disagree more. They know their limits and its a refreshing change to some of the other commentary.
  10. What are those flashing lights outside the ground on the right?!
  11. I think we need to appreciate here that a club like Arbroath (no disrespect, not a much smaller club than us,) would never normally be streaming games. As I said before the pixellot coverage should really be £5 max. The commentators are doing a good job and deserve better! As an expat I'm still enjoying the novelty of the whole thing and I hope QOSTV continues live but the future of football at this level is definitely in the stadium and not online / on tv.
  12. Ha Ha if we sit back and try and defend the lead it'll be 4-1 to Arbroath. ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK!
  13. That was an enjoyable first half. Stuck in a hotel room in Singapore so nothing better to do. Commentary is great, especially after my mention live. Seriously though it is good. Camera is not great. Very happy we are leading, I think Arbroath might have another gear.
  14. I thought Airdrie's was awful. For £10 I'll probably still be a mug and buy it. Relatively Airdrie's was OK. But it was 5 quid and I was expecting it to be paesh. So far today I would say the coverage is OK but I think teams using pixellot should be charging 5 quid max. Its not in the same league as ours or some of the others I've seen. I take it you didn't watch Morton?!
  15. So it is pixellot? The pixellot coverage of our game at Airdrie was ok. Not great but better than not watching and much better than Morton! I’ll be stuck in a hotel room in Singapore so I’ll probably still watch it. How much is it?
  16. So is it confirmed now that we definitely have no more defenders coming in?!
  17. Shall we just go 3-3-4 and attempt to outscore them. Cause we can’t defend...
  18. Perhaps but I don’t think anyone is surprised we’re losing. Never a red.
  19. Yeah defending at that corner a joke. It’s a bit sore when we were far better team but it’s not surprising and can’t really say it’s not deserved when we keep defending like that.
  20. Paid, logged in, can’t see any video icon to click on and view match
  21. I didn’t see the Raith game due work (thankfully) but I have seen us play decent against Morton, play well against Partick, very well against St Mirren being unlucky not to win and completely dominate the second half against Ayr. Do I think we’ll win today? No. But it may not be as bad as people are making out. Going forward we look good. Defence is the worry. IF we can sort out the defence we can take something from the game.
  22. That is disappointing if we have nobody else in defence. I’m all for caution but this squad is unbalanced. I still think Obileye and Buchanan look like a decent partnership overall based on all the games but I would be very worried if either was injured. Can we get Semple in anyway if he has no club?!
  23. Did you get the streaming to work? I ask out of general concern and also because it doesn’t sound like you watched the game. Aside from the awful defending at two goals We were actually very good for most of the match. If we play like that every week we will trouble even the best defences. Obileye and Nortey look comfortable at this level. Even Goss was very unlucky not to score the equaliser at the end with a great header. Need to see more of that from him. Gibson might be the surprise of the season. Ayr are supposed to be one of the better championship sides and he was very comfortable running at them and caused them problems. If we can sort out our defence we will stay up this season. If we get lucky with injuries we might even challenge top 4, I think we have the ability in the team for it.
  24. Watching from Dubai and the reliability of the stream was very good. Only one “pause,” as soon as I hit refresh it came back within 5 seconds. The reliability of the streaming was also great with our own and the Morton and Airdrie away matches. I think if you’re experiencing a lot of buffering the issue is either in your home or your local area’s internet.
