Just for your own records; you originally selected Celtic for Week 1 and then made a new post picking Falkirk. As per the rules in the OP, your Week 1 pick was changed to Falkirk. You'd have been through either way but you can not use Falkirk for the rest of the competition - you are free to use Celtic however.

Walking Down The Halbeath Road
Poet of the Macabre replied to Parscelona's topic in Scottish Championship General Chatter
Just the latest in a growing collection of tightly-fought Pars vs Airdrie games. Felt like a score draw kind of match so I'm delighted we were able to edge it. Paul Allen - woooft! Didn't think Otoo had a poor game at all but was quite surprised when I heard him someone say he got given MoTM. Felt Chalmers was better than him in the middle of the park and McCann was excellent. Maybe got higher marks for scoring I suppose. Also, whatever that pre-match monstrosity was can I please ask it is never repeated? Mash-up music was toe-curling and the flag-raising looked so naff. -
One day in to this year's competition and we've already lost a quarter of our players! If you have survived then you can now make your picks for Week 2 - as there is no Friday night or Saturday lunchtime game scheduled I am pushing back the deadline to 12:30pm on Sat 12th August. If you haven't make a selection before then, you will be eliminated. Good luck!

Hibernian European Tour 2023/24
Poet of the Macabre replied to Lyle Lanley's topic in Scots in Europe
I actually don't mind Lamont & Loy as a duo - they have good voices for it - but some of their chat would lead you to think they're not even in the stadium. The almost OG at the end of the half and Lamont just casually says "was going off target" etc and the replay shows it was going right into the middle of the net! -

I'd have been absolutely terrified watching those first 10 minutes as a Hibs fan. Getting passed off the park by some Andorran mob. If this lot weren't sub-East of Scotland level at the back then they could have won this tie. The goals have inevitably come but any other Premiership side will be rubbing their hands at the prospect of playing them. A handful of decent/good players and the rest are utter gubbins. BBC Scotland are predictably total amateur hour. Commentators seemingly not having a clue what's going on; just constant errors on who was booked, why fouls were given etc. This is also the first time I think I've ever watched the second leg of a European tie and the broadcaster doesn't have any mention of the aggregate score on the screen. -

Holy shit - it's a full blown conspiracy theory now! McPake is very good pals with McGowan. Do you seriously believe that he was not aware what he'd be looking for in wages for a permanent move? Or that he knew and took months and months to decide whether to sign him or not? Also, when did I say the Board blocking it would be the wrong move? I'm personally relieved we didn't sign him but I would highly doubt that McPake feels the same way. Perhaps I'm 100% wrong but it's hardly absurd to think a club kiboshed a signing and the manager didn't like it, considering it's probably happened at least once at every club in the country. -

What evidence would satisfy you my wise liege? So, your argument is McPake signed him on loan last season, praised him to the hilt, had him in for pre-season training, included him in our friendlies and was publicly frustrated at not being able to use him in the League Cup matches...and didn't want to sign him? -
23-24 Season Ticket and PATG Prices
Poet of the Macabre replied to TxRover's topic in Scottish Championship General Chatter
Yes, "simple" does seem appropriate tbf. If you did literally any research whatsoever then it's perfectly clear how much away fans will be getting charged at EEP this season.
