  2. f**k it, I’m joining the SNP Later. I was in agreement with Wishart, don’t rush the vote, win over the no voters and take it from there. After the last 2 days, where a Tory MP Decided to shout “suicide” at Ian Blackford, the attitude towards Scotland has really made me sick to my fucking stomach. Both David & Oliver Mundell must resign, they’ve thrown their constituents in the mire over Young’s, & now Brexit. Ross Thomson seems more determined to be a twitter troll, Kirstene Hare didn’t even fucking vote in the blue referendum because it’s too hard to decide apparently. Meanwhile, where’s Ruth Davidson, because she clearly isn’t holding fucking surgeries, but you’ll bet your fucking life she’ll have a cheeky photo op. f**k the Tories, it isn’t the SNP That’ll kill the union. It’s going to be them clinging onto Brexit like fucking madmen. /\ SEETHING, VERGE OF TEARS ETC.

  3. The good guys' focus should not be on the big, bad Tories - if you've been expecting anything less from them by now, you haven't really been paying attention. Pointing out that they are the UK Government and that Ruth Davidson is a gobshite liar is sufficient on that front. Most of the ammunition needs to be turned on Labour and the shower of morons supporting Corbyn the mumbleclown - it is time to take them down by pointing out that the Labour Party couldn't give a toss about the constitutional rights of Scotland - because they are in fact dyed-in-the-wool, British nationalists as well.

  4. If I had the time, I would genuinely go out and campaign now for a Yes vote. Have said loads of times I didnt vote last time out. Short reasoning being I wasnt convinced by Yes but no way was I giving No my vote. This time however, I dont need to listen to or read the case for Yes. It is simply all about emptying ourselves from this clusterfuck May is presiding over. Truly toxic stuff and I will happily take my chances as little Scotland rather than be a part of Little Britain. Probably reaching America levels of utter mentalness. f**k the UK.

  5. I have more sympathy for frustrated, underprivileged Leave voters who were desperate for something - perhaps anything - to change after decades of abandonment from a privileged Westminster elite, even if I think their vote was fundamentally misguided and counter-productive, than comfortable, middle-class, right-wing ideologues who voted - and campaigned for - Leave full in the knowledge that Brexit could well further endanger and damage the vulnerable, migrants and the less privileged, but decided to go ahead with it anyway because it wouldn't harm them too much and so they could get some sort of nationalistic headrush from it all.

  12. Erm no, this isn't the 1750s champ. Nations have a right to peaceful self-determination; the UK Government was in fact forced to bend to the will of the Scottish people. And will have to do so again unless it wants to get 'Rajoyed' out of power. The Scottish claim to self-determination has already been clearly established as follows: Who were the cliche-riddled nationalists that were responsible for that claim? Err, that would be Labour and Lib Dem politicians, s well as the 58 out of 72 Scottish MPs, 59 out of 65 Scottish councils and local authorities as well as a host of church bodies, trade unions and other institutions of Scottish civil society who signed the Scottish 'Claim of Right' in 1989: the above quote being the opening and most significant line of that document. Nothing has changed: the sovereign right of the Scottish people trumped Westminster's authority then; it still does so now. Thanks for playing anyway chump.

  16. I think we've offered contracts to the players we want, and none of them have signed (yet), so we are going down the route of giving facilities to every hopeless jobber who isn't in the position of being able to mull over several other offers in the hope that one or two isn't complete shite.

  17. After today’s sham, anyone in Scotland who votes “No” in Indyref 2 should be ashamed of themselves. Imagine voting for a fucking flag over governing ourselves. Not to mention having the complete piss ripped out of us every single day by our Masters in WM. f**k every single one of you Unionist aresholes. Rant Over. I feel better now [emoji2]

  22. Just to be clear my initial post wasn't intended to come across as a dig at the club, but was in response to Monkey Tennis who commented that extra sponsorship was akin to us selling our soul. I then made two off the cuff suggestions that I didn't think equated to "selling our soul", and that would actually benefit all parties concerned. It was then pointed out that one of the suggestions is already implemented and has been for a long time, and not at the cost of anyone's soul as far as I am aware. Great! I stand corrected on that one, well done Alex Wilson for the gesture and well done whoever organised it all. I think I've commented before that I don't envy your position on this forum, as "unofficial, official spokesman". As one of the few, or possibly only, posters with any great insight to the goings on at the club you probably feel obliged to highlight when people are talking rubbish. One of the primary purposes of forums such as this is for talking rubbish though so it's a thankless task. There are one or two trolls, but in the main we're all in it for the same reasons and any criticism or suggestions are meant with the best intentions of trying to improve the club's fortunes. We all know we have a small budget and a small fan base and a small number of non-playing staff and volunteers. That's why maximising what we do have is so important.

  24. As for the reasons for the popularity of this thread... Surely even the most "hard of thinking" can see that in a multi club forum, clubs who are in the business of making an arse of themselves are going to attract attention and ridicule (See Falkirk thread during eyeballgate) However, since Rangers are now in year 6 (six) of making an utter c**t of themselves, surely its no surprise that they catch a lot of heat? Couple that with the fact that the majority of Rangers fans come from well outwith what would be the natural catchment of a Govan club, then one can surmise that there is an extra layer of dislike for the glory hunters who left our towns every other week to go to Ibrox and celebrate/lord it up tainted titles. Unfortunately for you boys who can't comprehend it, this is no more than Scottish football fans revelling in your comeuppance. Soz lol xxxx

  25. Do you ever think SNPbad types ever look at the company they keep and have a wee moment of doubt from time to time? If I was even ambivalent on the subject and saw Mastermind arguing for one side I'd go as fast as I could in the opposite direction as a point of principle.

  26. Seeing as you're actually addressing the rest of the forum instead of calling against some uber lefty persona that I don't think even exists on here, I'll have a wee nibble. Genuine question, who or what are you rallying against all time on P&B? Everything I read from you seems like it's digging out some purple-haired US college trigglypuff type. Progressive! MSM! Identity politics! cultural appropriation! Do you think anyone on here gives a shite about that absolute guff? Your posts like you're trying to bait some American tumblr emo, rather than a bunch of folk who are probably about 95% working to middle class Scottish men. If folk on here don't like Trump, it's probably less to do with them being indoctrinated by CNN and more to do with the fact that he's a total w**k.

  27. Is anyone surprised? You don’t join the Tory party unless you’re an immoral, soulless c**t with a barely-concealed hatred for the lower orders, a jingoistic love of the UK, and an outward desire to celebrate anything that promotes and maintains a fantasy of how good the world used to be when the proles knew their place. Any narrative the modern spin doctors try and weave about Toryism having been updated and widened to embrace everyone is just that: spin. You don’t join a party which includes and puts centre stage the views of Mountain, Reece-Mogg, Johnson, et al unless you’re a money-grubbing monster who yearns for a return of Victoriana. Davidson knows exactly who and what she’s catering to. She just doesn’t care, because it’s the source of her money and fame (and potentially her immortality).

  32. Great banter. SNP MP’s trying to protect the interests of Scottish people and Scottish Parliament but yeah, just a bunch of cry babies eh [emoji849] Whether you like the SNP or not this is not an SNP thing - it’s a Scottish issue and you should be concerned. The only reason the SNP are at the centre of it all is because only they had the balls to walk out - unlike the snivelling shitebag MPs from Scots Labour/Tory/Lib Dem.

  38. Its fucking deluded too. Look at that absolute waste of a Parliament yesterday and its outdated ways. Brexit really depresses me because it means we are stuck with a lot of thick, Hillybilly, xenophobic c***s, and we're stuck with them on an island. I've always felt more European than British.

  41. What a f*ckin mess, I don’t know what the other ‘Unionist’ P&B posters feel (meagre in numbers that we are) but the argument for an Independent Scotland, and to be rid of this absolute shambles becomes increasingly harder to resist by the day? I just can’t buy anymore some of the absolute horse shit that I hear on my travels from pro-Brexit supporters, that still refuse to acknowledge where this is taking us.
