  1. "Livingston just head it and kick it" - Peter Houston, after watching and clapping as we attempted to punt it up at Lee Miller while Livi passed the ball around us, on the deck.

  2. So Rangers will be allowed to field 2 overage players against us next week in the diddy cup. Anyone still considering going needs to seriously think about why they go to football. We have the opportunity to send out a great message to the SPFL by boycotting this.

  3. Dundee United; get that fucking right round you. There's not a peep from the b*****ds tonight and that'll close Lorraine Kelly's mouth for a bit aswell - at least until she shovels 55 rashings of bacon and a field of eggs down her fat b*****d throat in the morning. Get in there Dundee. If United had of sneaked a win in that 2nd half i would've been disappointed, but not angry. We played exactly as i'd hope and there's not much more you can ask for from the players. Cammy Kerr is a fucking legend. f**k all these popstar c***s down in England who swan about like they're gods gift. This c**t loves his club and plays like any of us would on that pitch. An honest player who has more passion than Granny Danger does for a Kebab. By the way Danger get that right round you, you baldy ferret! Haber was outstanding and i've been his biggest critic. Fucking dominated the pussywiped at the back of the Dayglo's defence. Your not up againt Championship pish tonight lads and you got shown up. The Edge? Better off with that c**t who plays the harmonica in town at the back. McKinnon saying it was an even game at the end. There wasn't much between the teams? Who are you kidding you absolute fucking simpleton f**k. Comical to see. Next stop is a victory against the pathetic Academicals. Fucking enjoy it Dees. Fucking taste the air of domination within the city. Thank you.

  5. For FFS, show some humility Houston - you really do come across as a d1ckhead at times. It's YOUR squad, team, formation and tactics. Man up.

  8. Read in The Courier that Jack Hendry is currently living in Edinburgh and car shares with Holt, Bain and Spence but he sees that as not good enough and plans on moving to Dundee in the near future. Some commitment from the lad wish more were like it.

  11. The buck falls with the manager regarding the last two performances. Two seasons ago, we lost three league games, the bar obviously is high to match that but whilst the same manager is in charge and the opposition has weakened, he will be judged against that. Every club bar Livvy and Brechin in this league has released more than they have signed, only leaving out the above two due to an educated guess. The buck falls on Houstie now, it for sure now is his team as Grant, Loy and I should say Shepherd remain from him taking over, it seems as it stands, last season was a warning as the inheritance players left as his signings failed to replace once more. Craigen, Austin, Luca, Rankin, Kidd. Thomson, Aird Sorry given the choice now, I'd sign two of the above, at a push three without going into a huge list of failures before. The board albeit not ideal have given easily a top 4 budget as it stands, he has wasted. The biggest failing was our defence last season, we have same defence and a rookie at left back, whose value counter is going down per game. The development squad is wasted on him, Shepherd wasn't good enough when you came in Mr Houston and won't be when you are gone. We play a lumbering centre half before you play our 19yr Scotland youth cap right back, OHara obviously has Shat in your teapot. I'm fed up seeing two centre halves, three strikers(sorry including Shepherd) two full backs, Maybury etc on our bench in the past, the development squad is there to fill the bench and give them experience to stake claims later. We have went from a progressive club who gives youth a chance, to selling it before it's had a dip in the first team, development squad wasted on Mr Houston. His interview said on Saturday that he'd had Livvy scouted, tonite suggested otherwise with team selection. Sorry Houstie, the buck falls with you

  19. I'm organising a "IRN BRU CUP IS A FARCE, STICK YOUR COLTS UP YOUR ARSE" banner that we can raise over the fence on the far side a la East Fife fans on the Mound. BBPF has a "DOWN WITH THIS SORT OF THING" one looked out too. In all seriousness, there are a number of superfans who will attend this without understanding the consequences. There is no reasoning with these folk either - we just need to hope enough of us have a brain cell and stay away.

  20. Aye Shadwell is right here. This is Houstons squad he's decided to spunk his money on garbage like Kidd, Gasparotto, Shepherd, Kerr, Harris, Henderson and have spend a wage on having an experienced second choice 'keeper rather than a cheap, young back-up. Even so with this 'injury crisis' pish that Houston was talking about if they're really injured then don't fucking play them. He should be looking at the personnel he has got and finding a formation to suit them. We've got 3 centre backs, no right-back and 4 and a half strikers but we chooses to play with a back 4 and 1 up front. It looks like yet another summer of poor recruitment and I'm increasingly becoming frustrated at his poor attempts at building a squad. With our under 20's team if he doesn't feel at 18/19 that they are ready to play the occasional game for the first team or even ready to sit on the bench. Then what's the point in them and why are we paying them? The only 2 he does seem to rate are Gallacher who there is a whole lot of hype about but imo so far I've yet to be convinced and Shepherd who is never going to be good enough for this league.

  22. I would guess the pyro stuff is being pushed by the league rather than the club. If you take pyro to a game you deserve a lifetime ban, not because it's dangerous but because they are shite, don't create atmosphere and ruin everyones view of the game.

  23. I'm a bit baffled by the goalkeeper debate. People seem to be taking polarised stances on Robinson. In common with many of his colleagues, I don't think he had a good season last time and this meant that I was happy to see Martin brought in. I don't know that he was so awful that he should never be near the place again though. Obviously, we don't know the details of what's gone on between him and Naysmith, but there's a mystifying desire evident to side with Naysmith on it, to the extent that Robinson should apparently be treated like shit and the board should fund this treatment if necessary. I'd have no real difficulty with Robinson appearing on the field or bench for us again. I genuinely don't know why others so strongly would.

  25. I think it’s a scandal that Livingston players were allowed to play with a 1 metre circumference invisible force-field that prevented any Falkirk player from entering tonight. Will somebody please tell Tony Gallagher that it is his job is to stop crosses coming into the box. Being young is no excuse for failing to complete the basics of being a full back. Taiwo & Kerr as a centre paring doesn't work, yet we keep trying it Craigen as a right of left midfielder doesn't work, yet we keep trying it Shepherd as anything doesn't work, yet we keep trying it Long throws haven't worked for a year and a half, yet we keep trying them One up top doesn't work, certainly not when its Nathan Austin, I love the guy but a strong breeze puts him on his arse We've needed a solid right back for years, we still do (and we've added the need for a solid left back too) Houston as a tactician, motivator and recruiter doesn’t work, yet we keep trying it All of it needs to change.

  26. It's impossible to have much sympathy for Eric. I don't doubt he worked hard but he was at fault for farce after farce and didn't take any blame. Not only was his blaming of fans out of order there was the appointment of Locke, the 2016 season ticket confusion, the disappearing loyalty discount, the keeper farce last season and the lack of financial management. That is just for starters. He alienated people who have backed the club and now has a job as a councillor while taking the same wage out of the club. Let's hope we get some new ideas and new faces to take us forward.

  32. I like Derek Ferguson. He loves Scottish football. It doesn't matter to him it it's Rangers, Celtic or Elgin he's covering - he'll still be as happy as a pig in shit. Which is more than can be said for the likes of Willie Miller and Packie Bonner. He's an easy target because he isn't the most articulate and he happens to be the brother of Barry Ferguson.

  35. For Caley fans this will be there "John Rankin" moment. You had to accept that one of our best players was going to our rivals as it is a better move for them. It's not really the player you're angry at, it's just the acceptance. You have to accept that the other team in the rivalry is beyond you now. Enjoy our shadow Caley fans.

  41. You seem to forget he was the Chief Executive overseeing the current staff. If they are as useless as you say then he's partly responsible for that. I don't think you can set aside the catastrophic decision making of last season that contributed to our relegation. Those were business decisions on the day to day running of the club with huge financial implications. He was at the heart of making those wrong calls. From the outside I think part of the problem is that he was never qualified for the role of a Chief Executive. Someone in that position should be dynamic, a good communicator and set the tone for the how the staff and whole club operates. I get the sense that he ended up in that role by simply being around a long time and knowing how things worked at the SFA. Valuable knowledge for a club sure but more of an administrator than a Chief Exec.

  44. I'd love to know what utterly mental rationale Houston has for playing Kerr and Taiwo as our midfield when it never works. Watching him stand on the sidelines clapping away as we get gubbed by a bang average championship side is honestly enraging in a way that's hard to properly verbalize. By the time he'd brought on McKee and left a giant hole in front of Gallacher, for the livi players to happily run into, i'd given up to be honest. We spent the entirety of extra time essentially punting it aimlessly at Lee Miller with nobody running off him. Utterly stupid.

  46. A completely atrocious shitebags of a performance. Totally embarrassing how inept we were . Houston has lost the plot completely and we can only hope that hearts take him. By the way what is the point of Scott Shepherd. Two games into the season and I'm totally scunnered.
