  1. Get this idea, Malky Mackay, Stewart Regan, the whole SFA, the Old Firm and their sympathisers so far tae that we never ever speak of it again. The racist, sexist, anti-Semitic homophobe asked to be judged on what he does in the job, not on his past. That's you judged already Malky. Nothing new, just more of the same pandering to the Old Firm that fits in so well with the SFA's party line. B Teams would be the death of senior football in this country. It'll help the Old Firm get richer. It'll help the Old Firm keep young guys in their squads, without getting a sniff of top team action. It'll create an uneven playing field where club's with multi-million pound budgets, stunning facilities and no fans are competing against proper football clubs with a fraction of the budget. And it will kill any prestige linked with winning a lower league title. If ANY senior club votes in favour of this, and I suspect Morton will, then they need to be hounded by their own fans. It's the only way they might (and I mean might) listen.

  3. The only positive I can see coming from this is the absolute seethe from Warburton etc when a lower league jobber ends some Rangers u20s players career with a throat high challenge

  4. Can just imagine the excitement on a match day morning, Rangers B at home in the league. Playing a bunch of bairns who aren't even caring about the score line, small band of your local **** in the away end with their Arbroath Loyal Union Jack giving it No Surrender. Sounds good. Also pretty sure that these 20 year old bairns getting a scudding from lower league journeymen every Saturday would really benefit their development and massively improve them as footballers. Be qualifying for tournaments for fun after it IMO.

  5. They won't rest until this is forced through. If it happens, game really is fucked. It's not about conservative resistance to change; it's about the whole game's infrastructure being skewed to benefit the two biggest clubs at everyone else's expense; it's about introducing a measure that demonstrably will have very little impact on improving Scotland's standing internationally or in European competition. It's a laughing stock idea, in fact. I'm pretty estranged from the SPFL "product" these days; if this is forced through then it will be a full divorce. And I will be far from the only one in that position. I have no interest in watching glorified reserve team football as part of an allegedly "national" set up.

  6. I'm not one of 'those' people but I saw a Channel 4 news link pop up on my feed this morning that showed a child in Aleppo, literally a toddler of 2 years old, burst open from the head, covered in dust, dirt and asbestos, looking every inch the tortured war victim that a child of his age should never look and shell shocked to the point he wasn't even crying whilst people in the hospital all around him were scrambling to find if both his parents had died or not. It fucking broke my heart completely to see this level of suffering inflicted on something so innocent and it's so normal for his little body to go through all this shit that he's just switched off emotionally at such a young age. I was in tears for this poor wee baby. Then you have this, this fucking utter garbage. To call it a non-story would do non-stories a disservice. It's a chancing arsehole and her precious wee torn faced (I mean look at him, you can tell he's a bellend) angel moaning about a fucking £400 lump of plastic....not even moaning, going to the press to try and secure a fucking freebie to make this wee arsewipe's Christmas 'perfect'. This sort of shit makes me irrationally angry and I'm not usually one of those 'babeh's are dying in Afrika FFS' types. But to see real horror this morning, then an hour later, this garbled nonsense really boils my fucking piss. The media in this country should be utterly ashamed of themselves for even giving this bitch a shred of credence.

  7. Grandbairn No4 here safe and sound. Wee Myla Elizabeth weighed in at 8 11oz and 56cm long. I'm nerves are wrecked, as she was born at the side of the road on the A1 by my son, with the help of a very nice man on speaker

  8. Did anyone look at the reaction to the colt teams playing in the cup? Very few fans, if any, at that level were supportive. Many turned their backs on the games. It cost many teams money to host them. Crowds were poor, very few old firm fans attended. Lower league teams put out weaker squads (Clyde put up our U20s). It basically ruined that cup tournament. Well done to the Scottish football hierarchy. Now they want to ruin lower league football for the benefit of two teams.

  12. On the back page of one of the Sunday rags that Mackay will be pushing for Rangers and Celtic Colts into League 2 as an integral part of "Project Brave". Honestly, if you find yourself going to a Scotland match and handing money over to the SFA, you are a fucking moron.

  14. Anyone paying the slightest bit of attention knew this was coming. Some people said when they were drafted into the Challenge Cup that it was just for that competition but people with a lick of common sense could tell getting the 'Colt' sides into the league was the primary aim. If this gets voted through then I'm done with Scottish football. Get this idea, Mackay, Regan, the SPFL and the SFA so far to f**k.

  16. Had a great day with my son yesterday,we just chatted about life and just chilled.Went to see Rouge One which was outstanding.Tomorrow I plan to walk into Falkirk and clean my big brothers grave and go down to my mum and dad's plot as well.It may sound a crap way to spend the day but I end up just talking to them as if they were still with me.

  17. That and he's basically a massive troll as well. He knows the seethe he causes will get him the headlines. The 'ABE' and the Yes stuff for example. He really knows how to piss off the Home County, little Englanders. And it's fucking glorious.

  18. Thoroughly fucking bored by this shite. Please, Christ, that our board don't vote for it, but I'll be another one done if it comes to pass. I've better things to spend a couple of hundred quid a year on than watching a glorified youth development exercise for two clubs who hate having to deal with the rest of us anyway.

  19. Feel a bit more positive after yesterday's well deserved result. Thought the players gave their all, however it'll take more than a 1-in-whatever win ratio for me to fall back on the side of Aitken. The Bonnyrigg performances were unacceptable, as have been the tactics deployed for a large part of this season. If Aitken learns anything from that match is that we should afford our opponents less respect than we do. The gap between us and the others isn't as great as he'd let us believe. Yesterdays win was a welcome boost, particularly with the results going out way elsewhere, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. There was still areas of our game that could've been better, most notably our ability, or willingness, to get men forward when we have possession. It's no conincidence the winning goal came from one of the few times we drove at the Falkirk defence. Stanton did well, and Fleming's finish was excellent. We do have players who can open teams up when our tactics allow them to do so. It just doesn't happen often enough. We need to build on this win or it becomes another one off result sandwiched between too many inept performances. We need consistency. A win at Somerset and maybe I'll start believing Aitken has it in him to keep us in this division. On a slightly different note; I took my brother-in-law along to the game yesterday, along with his two kids. When he tried to enter via the child and parent gate he was told he needed to go the the season ticket door to buy a parent & child ticket, then return to the turnstile to pay for the additional child. Unnecessary hassle, unprofessional system and not a great first impression of the club's set-up sadly. Wanted to buy a club scar for his son, non available. Add to that the price of over £30 and it's not hard to see why we don't attract many walk up fans. The club really do need to address the overall match day experience.

  27. Just hope the League 2 clubs tell them NO FUCKING chance will they accept the terrible twins B Teams in League 2. Why should these teams be allowed in League 2 when they are clubs in the Highland League and Lowland League having to go thru playoffs in order to get in League 2. Whats the point of having a Pyramid System if these 2 just walk in ?

  28. While I wouldn't put it past the club to support it, it's worth noting that Morton's supposed support is based on one sentence in a Sunday Mail article which only says Celtic have made an approach to use Cappielow. I'll certainly be strongly expressing my views to the club to make it clear I'm dead against it if this does come to a vote, but I'm not going to condemn them before there's any indication that they do support it. Anyway, Mackay has asked to be judged on what he does in the job. Supporting this is grounds for instant dismissal. There is no justification for allowing youth teams to enter first team competitions under any circumstances. It's a completely non-negotiable, red line issue. There's no debate to be had, it's simply can't be allowed to happen. Get this idea so far to f**k along with Mackay & Regan.

  32. City v Spartans will always be THE derby to me but seeing as the Ainslie Arseholes are a tuppenny ha'penny club who can't get promoted to the League it will just have to be Berwick this season. Berwick-upon-Tweed is 60 miles from Edinburgh though- Cowdenbeath and Stirling are nearer. Berwick Rangers didn't join the Scottish League until 1951- 21 years after Edinburgh City did. Wee diddy non-League upstarts....

  39. That's a great result yesterday and the table looks a bit better for us now. However my worry is that it's Dumbarton under Aitken at its best. We all get fed up, barrage him with criticism and all of a sudden we get a result out the blue! It's a never ending cycle, we will probably lose to Ayr and the doom and gloom will be back for another 6 weeks until we pull another random result out the hat. Delighted with the 3 points though [emoji2]

I said this would happen when the youth teams were parachuted into the Diddy cup and looks like plan team B will be next! No thanks
