As of next week moving onto what they are calling 9/80 shift, a 9 day fortnight. Week one hours are 9, 9, 9, 9, 8 so work 44hours. Week two hours are 9, 9, 9, 9 so work 36hours and get the Friday off. Every 2nd Friday is now a holiday, so basically for doing an extra hour Monday to Thursday I have had 26 days holiday added to my leave entitlement. Add to that the fact that I get paid fortnightly, on the Friday I work as it has worked for me (US company paying the standard US way), Every Friday from now on is a Pay Day or a Holiday. Fucking loving Fridays from now on

Yeah, that was my thought too. The worrying thing is where does it go from here? However much anyone may try to justify this action I can see it on exacerbating an already incendiary situation. Can we anticipate a small scale race war with other groups emulating the actions of these shooters? That's a hell of a scary prospect for the people of the U.S. - particularly black people who will no doubt get the worst of it. I've had a 970 for about a year or so and it handles every single thing I throw at it without any hitches. Unless you are planning on getting a 4k monitor or buying a VR headset I'm sure it would be more than adequate.

They done work on their cow shed with some of that money. We'll see how their season goes and where they are when they fail to get promoted again.

You might want to look at the new RX 480 and the NVIDIA 1060 thats due out shortly. Both will be better buys than the R9 or 970 Personally, Im probably going to hold out for the 1060, partly because its supposedly faster than the RX and partly because I already have an NVIDIA card ETA - I've caved and bought a 480. At the beginning of the week everywhere had stock, now quite a few of the versions are going out of stock and not expected back in until the end of the month. Given the 1060 might not be readily available until August, if then, I couldnt wait
