Genuinely got nothing against the Hibs c**ts dishing it out about Neilson, tbh. Short of him winning us the league () or actually finding his testicles in order to get us through a few rounds in a cup competition to actually have a shot at another trophy, he will forever remain a gutless coward. I seriously just can't wait until him, Levein and Budge f**k off. Likely finishing 2nd-4th on the park again this season doesn't escape the fact that it isn't mind numbing tedium 99% of the time. While Budge has saved the club and will leave a legacy I'm grateful for going forward, the complete sanitising and please hold hands mantra she comes out with on a near weekly basis just reinforces what a beige club we have become. We need the right balance of mixing our current financial prudence with the "f**k every other c**t in this country" attitude we largely had under Romanov. If the former continues to instead be coupled with shitebaggery seeping through the club from top to bottom, then there's every chance we'll become just about everything we used to laugh at Hibs for.3 points

It'll be nice to see Peter Houston back at Cliftonhill on Saturday - been a while since he played for Rovers. Our chairman has posted the following: On Saturday we welcome Falkirk along to Cliftonhill for our second pre-season friendly.Kick off is 3 and prices are:£10 adult£5 concession£3 kids under 16The £2 off each price offer is still on when showing a 2016/17 season ticket for either club. Rovers' season tickets will be on sale at the side gate from 1.30.Both clubs have agreed that a third of the gate money will go towards helping the family of Falkirk's media officer Gordon McFarlane. Gordon suffered a serious stroke this time last year and the family are trying to raise money towards the significant alterations required to his house. There will also be a bucket collection for this very worthwhile cause.Ronnie Boyd3 points

Surely it would be more concerning if we were paying silly wages? I'd rather finish bottom with 0 points than spend what we can't afford. We have guys like Barr, Stirling, Buchanan, Fleming, Wright and Stevenson who will be on a very decent part-time wage. You could probably throw Mark Brown and Gallagher in there as well. We aren't scrimping by with u17's and lower league jobbers, all of them should be capable of doing a job at this level. Losing out on Nade and Agnew is no big deal IMO. The quality of our squad is absolutely fine, just require a couple of more bodies and we'll be sorted.2 points

Considering half your support want Neilson sacked because he bottled it at 2-0 up at home with 10 minutes to go against us before we went on to win the Scottish cup for the first time in over a century therefore giving us the greatest day in our history..then that's probably why it's relevant to this season, champ.2 points

We have two wingers and there are two wings on a football park, I sincerely hope we play them together! If we're not playing Stirling on the left and Smith on the right then that means someone like Gall or Fleming is playing there and that is not what we want.1 point

My guess for Barr is that it was a bit too early to be throwing him into consecutive games, given he'd only come back form his honeymmon prior to the Brechin game.1 point

I remember Houstie coming on as a sub for Falkirk at Cliftonhill and almost immediately pulling off a slide-tackle / foul & handball combo before getting back on his feet and striding away with the ball as if nothing had happened and without the referee pulling him up for any of his misdemeanors - was right in front of the away support as well. Almost made up for the wee laddies chucking bricks over the wall at us during half time.1 point

I did take my mother to Nana Plaza as she was adamant she hadn't seen a ladyboy in three days in Bangkok. I think she is still in shock.1 point

Surely we'll be due a development fee from Morton for Antonia? Hope she shows someone else how to use the card machine before she goes, otherwise our income is going to reduce dramatically.1 point

At the game on Tuesday he looked in a bad way, could barely walk. If it's long-term we'll have to bring in another defender. Wouldn't mind that being Stranraer's trialist number 4 (Ross Barbour). Would also be concerning in midfield if Tatar was going to be signed and his injury is a bad one.1 point

because we were banned for not having three years accounts because we were a new company, uefa recognise us as the same club on their website. there was never two clubs existing at the same time, there was two companies, the club was transferred between companies with the sale of the club along with other assets on june 14th 2012, both companies involved in the sale bdo and duff and phelps have stated that the club was sold at that point There were two conflicting rules for the Scottish cup which both applied to Rangers. Clubs in the previous year’s premier league entered in the 4th round and the current years third division clubs entered the cup in the 2nd round. Obviously Rangers could not enter the Scottish cup twice so the SFA clarified the situation in a statement on the 17th July 2012. Q- “What round will Rangers Newco join the William Hill Scottish Cup? A- Under the Scottish FA’s Cup Competition Rules, Rangers FC as a third division club will join the William Hill Scottish Cup at the second round. No mention anywhere in that statement about it being because Rangers are a new club, just a conflict in the rules due to the unique situation of Rangers being in the third division the year after being in the premier league, a situation that could not happen normally. The SFA who make the cup rules have made it very clear that Rangers are the same club in various statements. So once again, an argument without any proof backing it up which the available evidence contradicts. The league cup was the same with Rangers as a division three club entering at round 1. because the tupe regulations were in force which apply to new companies, the players had the choice to continue with the new company or leave, absolutely nothing to do with the club, which remained the same Because we were kicked out of the spl due to our company failing to agree a cva, we were then voted in division three, we were treated as a exsisting club during this process and didnt not have to meet the requirements of a new club entering the league, every scottish footballing organisation is 100% clear we are the same club spl - " it is an existing club, even if it is a new company”. sfa - " Different corporate entity but same Rangers, same history, same honours accrued over 140 years.” sfl - " after 140 years the club is once again a member of the organisation it helped found in 1890 " spfl - http://spfl.co.uk/clubs/rangers/1 point

Kelly has played a fair bit of football at this level already at 22 years old. I've seen him make bad mistakes but also play really well at left-back, centre-back and left-mid. He's a tall lad and is versatile. I suppose it's the type of player that Archie will think can improve under his stewardship, like Booth. I think Kelly still has a good amount of potential. He wouldn't be the first player to leave St Mirren and have a better career!1 point

Good morning Kincardine. Obviously, you're having a bit of sport with this diddy thing now, but it's best not to overdo it, or you wind up looking a bit juvenile. Hell, I'll bite anyway though. It's odd that you cite figures based on legislation that you're so vehemently opposed to, as if it presents a watertight case. The reality is that anyone who attends football is able to offer a very simple explanation for what the figures appear to tell us. I've said this before, but I'll do so again because it's true and entirely relevant to this discussion: Should I, on Hibs' next visit to Palmerston, stand up to loudly proclaim Stubbs a ****** b*****d, via song, I'll rightly be arrested and charged under this legislation. As we've seen however, literally thousands of Rangers fans have been able to do this without sanction, precisely because there are literally thousands of them doing It. This is what renders a face value reading of the figures, brainless.1 point
