Going by the cost of the North West bus to most away games this could bankrupt Hearts.4 points

Probably because Keith Jackson wrote a column on the subject today where it made out he'd just invented the term. Saw on Twitter they were encouraging folk to phone in to Sportsound tonight. Super. A section where incoherent, gibbering morons who know nothing about football go on air to answer questions from fans.2 points

He deserves immense credit. Considering the shambles he took over little over a year and a half ago, to find us where we are now is incredible. He had the advantage of a clean slate in assembling a squad, but I'd think most neutral observers would've expected us to have a long, extended stay in League One if not worse before coming back up, such was the embarrassing and humiliating nature of our relegation. There are plenty of clubs; like Nottingham Forest, Leeds, the two Sheffield clubs, Rangers, Hibs and Dunfermline that find themselves divisions they feel don't befit their status and make an absolute meal of working their way back up. If, when walking out of New Douglas Park in May 2014 you had told me we would be where we are now, taking points off Rangers at Ibrox and scudding Hibs at Easter Road, not to mention putting another league title in the cabinet and two cup quarter finals in the same season I'd have bitten your hand off for it. There's been a few dodgy moments along the way, most notably Spartans, but that abomination should now well and truly be forgiven. He may never become a legend as a manager at Morton, but I'd like to think that when he does leave, his time here will be thought of fondly by us all. All he's got to do for the season to be considered a success now is to go up through the play offs, win the cup and deliver that elusive win over St. Mirren and he might win the rest of the support over.2 points

This is the best Morton team I have seen in a long time & I have been going to Cappielow since 1973 so have saw the good times & lots of bad ones also. Could this really be there time for SPL football I think they have the players but We have to wrap Macdonald & Jackson in cotton wool & keep them both fit Tidser also will be a very important Player for us in the Midfield. But when You look & the bench We have Weatherson, Campbell, & Bachirou itching to get back in the team after Saturdays trip to Dumfries We play Partick on the Friday Night then Hamilton, & Falkirk all within the space of a few short Weeks we really could be Top by a few points can we really keep going & stay top of the League I think & hope We can..1 point

I'm sure Dick would have jumped at that. 'Come and work for us, but know that, if you don't win all your games, you'll be replaced'1 point

It's time to come clean on the perceived Forfar sugar daddy. He goes under the name of Mr. Golf Day, Sportsman's Dinner, Ladies Dinner, Xmas dance, Loons Lottery, 250 Club, Supporters Club, Hospitality, Tribute nights, Quiz nights, Loons Direct Shop, Match day bar, etc etc. All of these do grow on trees if you plant them.1 point

16 16. 16. 2 up, 2 down 3,4,5 &14 play offs 16 16 16 16 16 16 Locally organised leagues. KEEP IT SIMPLE! None of this 12 or 14 teams playing each other 3 times or complex splits bollocks. Gives a bigger prem a bigger champ and level 3 can be a bit of a buffer so you can have enough promotion/relegation places to allow movement up and down the pyramid, but is not too big a jump that will se most clubs go straight down the following season, give bigger and better non leage clubs a chance to move up the pyramid, gives the bottom half league 2 clubs a kick up the arse. What's not to love?1 point

Thank God someone has the true story of Paul Sheerins departure on here RedLichtie86. Paul had signed Murray from the juniors who was an outstanding success for us , just as is Whatley is still in my opinion, and I still feel his best position is at right back. People have a very short memory that's for sure, but again I suppose that's football for you, as they say , " your only as good as your last game". The PS & SP seasons ( excluding the last half of our relegation season) produced some of the most exciting and attacking football that I've seen since the mid 70's with; Bone, Penman, Fletcher, Sellars , Yule, PIrie etc etc. The match where it all suddenly clicked at home to Montrose in The New Year game will live long in my memory as we played them off the park and they couldn't touch the ball for the last 30 minutes. If the comments I read above are correct then there is a serious issue as I am sure that the Arbroath Board would not condone such behaviour, and they too have always acted I a very professional manner and shown respect to our managers/players of the past . Basic managerial experience tells you that you should ; Never respond to comments on social media - ever Never discipline a player in public ( let alone on the pitch) - ever Never publicly name/shame a player in the media - ever Never blame things you have no control over like; fluke goals, weather conditions, player mistakes, red cards, etc ( you may feel there these had a major impact in a result, however let others voice it) Time for these two people who in my opinion ( and that's only my opinion) to respect Arbroath FC and resign. I was dubious about the appointment in the first place, even if the calibre of applications was poor, as he was part of the management team that ultimately decided to try to manage by fear. There is no doubt that he is a very different and more analytical character than Allan Moore was , and fans made reference to Moore having a foul mouthed argument with our Captain NIcoll from the touch line. I believe that Ramsay became involved in back chat to the bench a few weeks ago , and this should/would also have to dealt with in the dressing room and not pitch side. We need a change and now when someone has 10 games in charge and not at the end of March ( just because perhaps East Stirling may be cut adrift). If we are not careful it will be us who are cut adrift and panic will set in for the last 5 games. We are a great club run by fantastic people who give their time and devote themselves to making sure that the club are in the right place in future years, please let this not be in the HIghland League.1 point

Forbes was slated by Dunfermline as being a lazy player. If you watch the third goal v Hibs, you can see how "lazy" he is. Wins the ball in our own half sends Barr away then runs the length of the park to get on the end of his cut back to score a beauty. He has been one of our most consistent players albeit his form shaded a bit in the last couple of months. Against Hibs though, although with O'Ware, McKee and Barr, he was immense!1 point

In what way is Monreal better? I'd argue that Robertson is a better passer, better going forward and has a far better engine than most fullbacks in the BPL. The only real question mark over Robertson is a slight naivety in terms of defence but that will disappear with age and better coaching.-1 points
