  1. An opportunity for the whole country to laugh like f**k at them.
  2. Sunak appears not to have voted for the Tory London mayor candidate.
  3. 650 councillors elected in England at time of posting. Number of Reform councillors - 0. If they keep going from strength to strength at this rate ...
  4. No, he doesn't. He's doing what he always does - making a complete and utter roaring arse of it until he fucks off again. Jedi3 coming soon.
  5. Completely agree with BB Bino. Whatever thought processes were behind this - if any - they worked themselves into a ludicrous position. This "performative" bollocks won't wash - it's an absolutely fucking ridiculous optic to see an indy party actively vote with Better Together. I can't see how anyone at the next Holyrood election is going to vote SNP 1 and Alba 2 after this. They'll either go SNP 1 & 2 or SNP/Green. For a party that has remained pretty marginalised, this was an absolutely mental thing to do. Maybe they feel their principles are still somehow intact. Truth is I suppose that those aligning with Alba are those who feel that Alex Salmond got a very raw deal both from the media and Nicola Sturgeon - particularly the latter. I understand that. None of it gets anyone closer to concerted effort on indy and that's the sad part of it all for people who want that concerted effort to happen.
  6. Certainly don't disagree that perception is key. Herein lies a problem for the indy movement - not just the SNP. The media is extremely hostile to the nationalist perspective and the only outlet to counter that has had to be set up specifically for that purpose. The National is pretty much viewed, correctly, as biased. The rest are getting away with pretending they are news outlets when it's blindingly obvious that the BBC, the Herald and of course the myriad of right wing rags report anything about Scotland in as negative a light as they possibly can.
  7. I'm no sure I agree with this. A huge part of their time in administration since the last elections was taken up by the pandemic. In that respect, their communication was pretty clear and consistent - much more aligned to the better world leaders and a mile away from the catastrofuck across the border. The "fringe" issues are focused on trans rights, net zero and the hate crime bill. Most of these are reasonable enough issues to tackle and were supported by more than just the SNP and Greens. Not the Tories obviously - they want the hate crime bill repealed despite 99% of it being introduced by them down south. But they'd oppose anything and everything. All of these issues are a matter of debate across the world - not just in Scotland. It should be perfectly reasonable to run an economy and do this stuff. But there's a massive culture war running just now and the right wing arseholes are shouting very loudly. I'm not saying they've been absolutely competent but they've not necessarily not been competent because other stuff is happening that's making a lot of noise.
  8. Who knew you couldn't just stand in a court and shout a load of shite eh? Get him in a cell.
  9. 15 years since he and Jimmy Anderson fended off the Aussies with a last stand that Custer would have been proud of. All kind of gone to shit since then though.
  10. And what the f**k are they moaning about? They got on the wrong fucking aeroplane! See before Jet2 f**k it up, have a look at the destination at the gate.
  11. Kezia for the lolz and head explosions. Falling that, whoever else would cause Foulkes, Murray and Fraser to lose the absolute run of themselves.
