  1. Two great posts there from Monkey Tennis and Adamski about the bizarre arguments the club used to justify why they voted yes. As I've already stated, and MT's post seems also to pick up on, it seems like a good argument for voting no that they have given us instead of yes! I really do think that the only financial implication on Queens this current season is that of many Queens fans and many visiting fans not attending as many, if any of the games they would have had Queens voted yes. Sheer incompentency then to not recognise the way way the vote was going and then blunder ahead knowing the only sure impact on finances would come from alienating the supporters!
  2. Still feeling sick and disgusted by the way Queens voted in this. The statement today is a farce, I think it actually puts forward a good argument for voting no! I have had the most horrendous year that anyone could imagine, but this compounds it. I emailed the club nearly a fortnight ago stating my view, and also my intentions should they vote a Newco (regardless of who the Newco was replacing) and I stand by them. I will not be at a game at Palmerston for the forseeable future. I do not plan to be at any game at Palmerston this season, though of course if the final home game of the season was to be a historic one I would go only to show my two oldest kids what it felt 10 years ago. I will attend away games, so will therefore will support the team, but will not spend a penny which goes to Queens. When my kids ask why we do not go to Palmerston I will explain my principles and how the people running Queens are behaving beyond which I think is acceptable with regards to my principles. I will no doubt be regarded as a gloryhunter, a traitor or not a "true fan" for this stance but I really do not give a toss. The people currently running Queens have shown that they do not hold the fans with any regard, despite statements suggesting otherwise. Their statements also suggest that the major shareholders (the board) are only in it for the money, why then would I want to line their pockets? The only other point I wish to make is that if Newco are still forced in to a second tier in Scottish football, then I will be finished with the senior game in this country forever. I am sickened by the way Regan and Doncaster have let down their respective organisations and fully expect that neither will be in a job by the end of this week.

  4. I had the same problem as SD. Showed the live updates from the Stirling game. Definitely not the last live update game I've viewed either, so assumedly the problem isn't with either mine or SD's PC. I was pointed to the live update from Facebook messages.
