  1. Otoo is a tremendous player, hopefully he recovers well from this injury as he's going to be massive for us next season.
  2. We've won 5/17 home league games and in 12 of those games we've not scored more than a single goal. Playing at EEP has been an absolute chore this season and today was no exception. The formation was all over the place, why were we playing five defenders at home with Hosler in CM? Mental stuff from McPake. The subs were strange too, subbing Welch-Hayes and putting Fisher at RB when Welch-Hayes is better in that role and then Fisher ends up going off injured anyways. He then to his credit correctly subs McCann only to replace him with Holmes (whose never a footballer in a million years) when he's got Sutherland on the bench who it would surely be more worthwhile giving minutes over some Blackpool dud? Pissed off with this season, the point should be enough to keep us up barring some mental results but McPake needs to get a fucking grip and make some tough decisions ahead of next season.
  3. Next season is going to be a very open league, the goal has to be winning it. To seriously go for it, McPake needs to be ruthless. Hamilton and Otoo are the only central midfielders worth keeping, Chalmers & Allan need moved on. Summers returning to Celtic is no loss either. Strikers wise (excluding Kane who isn't ours), you're hard pressed to make a case for keeping any of them.
  4. Chalmers is like playing with a man down, arguably one of the most negative players to have put on a Pars shirt. Otoo by contrast is improving every game and has been our player of the season. The lad just doesn't stop all game, he's got a real promising future at a higher level.
  5. Yeh if we're being realistic, we need Raith not to shit the bed midweek and we need to win on Saturday to have a serious chance of finishing 4th.
  6. Unless there's any injuries (which wouldn't be a surprise) we should absolutely go with the same eleven that started against Ayr. The additions of Welch-Hayes and Kane, as well as the return of Todd have improved us significantly. Plus we are so much better without Chalmers in midfield slowing everything down, Allan arguably put in his best performance at the weekend alongside Otoo in the middle and his corners are causing opposition defences nightmares. The matches against Airdrie tend to be close but if we can play like we did at the weekend, there's no reason why we shouldn't be confident about getting another crucial three points to keep the momentum going into the Fife Derby.
  7. What an absolute belter of a result. Get Munro on the team sheet for the rest of our games this season, lad had a blinder.
  8. The Livingston guy? Would put Moffat on for Holmes, Moffat likes shooting and would fancy his chances against Stewart in goals.
  9. Benjamin against Fitzpatrick and a CM marking arguably the best striker in the league was always going to be a rough watch.
  10. Bit weird how this guy from Livingston isn't starting especially with Comrie tearing his ACL and he's apparently more of a RB than CB? Unfortunately, this could be a long night for us boyz.
  11. Been out injured most of the season, should fit in well.
  12. If he gets a CB in this week and we go with Hamilton & Otoo in central midfield like we did in the 1st half against Arbroath, we might give Partick a game. Still expect to get battered though, we haven't won in nine so winning at Firhill seems highly unlikely.
  13. We actually scored a goal We didn't lose We didn't have to watch Joe Chalmers Yay? No in all seriousness, Arbroath were a poor outfit and we couldn't beat them either, can't see where our next win is coming from, sleepwalking to League One at this rate under McPake.
