  1. A fabulous site. Great pictures and information. Will be handy when I'm back at Christmas !
  2. Unfortunately, I only got five minutes of the game when a message flashed up informing me that TG4 couldn't stream it Live as they have to obey some agreement with the BBC not to stream the game Live at the same time it's being broadcast. Very strange ! Will try again this weekend though !
  3. Thanks a lot Caoimhin, I'll see what I can do.
  4. Anyone know if the games are going to be streamed on the net. I'm stuck in China at the moment.
  5. Just stating what the imbeciles who follow them chant at every game 'In-ger-land, In-gerland, In-ger-land' ad nauseum !
  6. [quote name='sonnj' we must be one of the few countries in the world to have not had this, plus we have a problem with ireland poaching players who have an irish background so that makes it a double whammy. We get castigated again yet it's been o.k. for you lot to play Ingerlish and South African footballers for years. The first guy mentioned in this thread was from Guyana and played for you. You've had a Swede captain you and there's a Malaysian in the team as well as your usual Ingerlish. And you want a load of second-generation Eastern Europeans. And yet, as usual, have a go at the Irish. We didn't pick anybody born outside of Ireland until 1965. You can't have it both ways.
  7. Where on earth did they get that from ? He was born in Manchester to Ghanaian parents. Already played for Ingerland at Youth level.
  8. Ireland 17 v. 3 Argentina. I can live with that. Would love to have watched it and see us actually beat Argentina for once but the result is what matters to us in terms of World Cup seedings. Good game at Pittodrie in those conditions. And grand to see the Oz RL World Champions aren't. Well done New Zealand. Now make it an open tournament for Christ's sake !
  9. B) In the second-half, we just weren't at the races. The crowd knew it as well. That's the quietest I've ever heard Croke Park.
  10. Something that may be of interest to Scottish cricket followers thinking of going to next year's 20/20 World Cup. As a member of the Irish Cricket Union, I've just received my letter notifying me that I can enter into a ballot for tickets for Ireland's games in Nottingham next June. There's 600 tickets for each game available, an absolute disgrace to Irish followers. Granted, there will be four countries supporters at the ground on both days. But 600 ? Well done the ECB. Promoting cricket amongst lesser nations once again.
  11. I shall be watching Ireland v. Fiji tomorrow morning at work. There shall be cider waiting in my desk if we win. I'd love it if we get to the semis but, who cares, we have the craic anyway. And we're not bad either !
  12. Don't know if anyone noticed but, last weekend, Ireland won the Inter-Continental Cup for the third time in succesion. Just thought I'd mention it !
  13. Great bar there as well. I lived in Antigua for a while a couple of years ago and that ground is brilliant. It was a bit rundown but Stanford spent a load of money on it and held a West Indian 20/20 there that was brilliant. Twenty teams from around the Caribbean and free to get into every game bar the semis and Final. Great piss-up had by all with cricket thrown in. Wicked !
