  1. That's the advantage of the season ticket though. If there are restrictions in place, the North & South stands between them will accommodate the majority of not all season ticket holders, with social distancing in place. For track & trace, you're not going to be able to purchase tickets at the turnstile so will need to buy them in advance and provide contact details. Tickets for away matches, if fans are even allowed, will likely be distributed through season ticket holders and supporters groups for the same reason. So under the circumstances, a season ticket looks at not bad option.
  2. McLean was in charge for the game against Aberdeen which we lost 4-1 we beat United home and away that year. The home match was our first win and points Of the season.
  3. Permanently, yes But not, as was being proposed, for only 2 years thereafter 4 teams would be relegated from the Premiership and 6 from the Championship.
  4. What were the 2 major U turns? Contrary to popular belief, there was no u-turn on reconstruction. Raith were in favour of 14-14-16 which is not what was being proposed.
  5. Goals weren’t our issue that season, we finished on 50 in the league. The defence was rank rotten. You can see from the Falkirk game highlights why both teams got relegated.
  6. I was thinking from open play as our goal against Clyde in 1-3 defeat away was a penalty. I think we also only scored in one game (2-0 vs Livingston when we had Smith & Jones up front) out of 6 in the lead-up to the decisive game against Alloa
  7. Did we not go 6 consecutive games without scoring that season? And until we signed Andy Smith we had Clarke and Graham Bayne up front who managed zero goals between them.
  8. We did rake in over a million on transfer fees with the sales of Macanespie and Cameron, which covered the transfer fees. Was it not £250k for Harvey, £90k for Bonar and £100k Twaddle? I thought Thompson had assembled a half-decent squad, the problem is Munro binned most of them and brought in numerous journeymen from Scandinavia every other week who were largely woeful. This was pre transfer window and we had a ridiculous turnover of players.
  9. We played Airdrie 7 times that season, in all competitions. Airdrie made it to the Scottish Cup Final that year, losing 1-0 to Celtic, same season we won the league cup. Not sure if that’s the only season where both national trophy finals have been contested by lower-league teams.
  10. Yes, part of our 10-game winning streak In 94/95 which saw us beat every team in the league in succession to go top of the league We beat Dundee 2-1 in the the next round with Rocky scoring the winner from the halfway line (not as spectacular as it sounds) before being thumped 4-1 at home by Airdrie in the quarter-final to kill off our treble dreams.
  11. After watching some more of the videos posted on YouTube recently, I’m struggling to think of a worse miss than this one. Just as well Daz scored 170 goals for us.
  12. The 3-0 against Hibs in 1995 was midweek so only the goals were in Sky Sports News. We utterly annihilated them and only a superb performance from Jim Leighton kept it to single-figures. That plus beating Aberdeen at home were 2 of our all-time best performances as we destroyed 2 strong teams. We finished 6th that season although level on points with Hibs who were 5th. And we beat them 3 times! That first season up was great fun though, got thumped many an away trip but we played great football and there was no expectation we’d do anything other than go down.
  13. Well head butting an opponent (in a later match) didn’t merit a booking . . .
  14. Saints game highlights were on tv. I made my saints supporting pal watch Alan Preston’s volleyed own goal repeatedly. And watched Crawfords winners until the tape wore out.
  15. Another classic which Scott Thompson mentioned in his Twitter interview, was winning 1-0 away at the Pars a few weeks after wining the cup with Thommo saving a penalty in the last minute. Absolute scenes. That was part of our 10-game club record winning streak that put us back in contention.
