  1. I re-watched the game, he did struggle but he was a completely different player when Fraser came on, maybe the familiarity of each other's game from the Dev squad helped him, but most of our good play late in the game involved him
  2. Still got another few days here so maybe he'll pick himself up and show something different
  3. He was rotten for the first 15 minutes then was ok. Had a nightmare in the for most the second half
  4. He looked absolutely devastated after his mistakes. Felt sorry for him
  5. Got quite a few left who'll no doubt step-up to the first team in the next couple of seasons. McInally, Docherty, Penrice, McMullin, and McLaughlin are the ones to watch out for
  6. I agree about Wilson. It's like he is nervous and overthinking everything even though he already has played with the 1st team. Reminds of Squiddy's early days. In a similar note - Despite him bossing the development league, I've not been impressed with Leyden in the pre-season games. I'll not judge until he's played a few league games but I'm beginning to think it's maybe a season too early for 1st team football.
  7. Forgot about wee Neil. Penrice and Leyden too. All 3 were with the club before the investment though
  8. The ones coming through have been with the club before the Weirs investment or, like Jack Hendry, been brought into the club as part of the Dev squad rather than part of the academy
  9. Hendry has been brilliant for the development squad since the turn of the year. It's great to see him continue that and grab his chance at the first team. He also seems to have grown about a foot and bulked up over the summer
  10. 10:55 is the time I have written down, with the Dev squad starting their match against at Airdrie at 11. Does seem like a weird time, but it's a closed door friendly so anything goes
  11. My heart sunk a bit there as I read that as Ray Winstone for some reason
