Don’t really get the season is too long argument Darvel are putting forward for withdrawing from the semi final. Sounds like a convenient excuse, if there are other reasons they can’t field a team, just come out and say it. They have shown a lot of disrespect to the trophy and other clubs who have all had long seasons. Certainly if I was a Darvel fan, I wouldn’t be happy, they haven’t exactly been overloaded with trophies over recent seasons, and I would want to see my team win every trophy they could. A final is always a good day out. What is the Darvel fans point of view on this?

It seems his only comeback is to call people paedophiles and call the out for a fight at the next game. It genuinely doesn’t show him or Darvel in the best light. It has gone far beyond banter in some cases. Most players would have the gumption to ignore it. They are aspiring to be a team with the utmost professionalism. Most teams wouldn’t let there players away with it, he is creating problems for himself next season.

Unfortunately Darvel players haven’t done the manager any favours here. Fair enough if he gave them permission to go, but they could’ve respected him a bit more than posting it all over social media, when there was always a chance it could blow up in their face. Also I wonder if he gave Miller permission to post what he was posting last night, which went far beyond banter. If that’s what you want representing your club good luck!

You have got a point here, have noticed that the clubs PR has been really poor lately. Don’t really get score updates on their social media, players and chairman seem to use social media to criticise other teams. Also for the chairman to go on tonight and moan about having to play games on Mondays, is a bit off, the rules are the same for everyone and it’s down to Darvel if their pitch hasn’t been playable.

Can’t blame players for making hay whilst the sun shines, however you would imagine any player Darvel are after teams will now be looking for a significant transfer fee and players will be looking for a hefty wage (which no doubt Darvel will deny paying, they only ever wanted to play for the team) Also for a club with their supposed aspirations, they unfortunately are turning into a fairly obnoxious club, not just in the way they go about their business. Continually see crass comments from the chairman and players on clubs social media pages. it all has a whiff of something built on a house of cards that will come tumbling down at some point.
