Here’s my tuppence worth. I thought The Temperance Movement were excellent. The Darkness were awful (apart from their last sing-a-long song). Alabama 3 were a bit disappointing, didn’t stay for their full set. Texas were brilliant and Queen were fantastic! Really enjoyable day overall though. Was there with my wife and 13 year old daughter and there was a really good vibe with not a hint of trouble. And no queues at the bars!

For those that were there at the weekend, did the headliners finish by 11pm? Going on Friday with my 13 year old daughter and hoping to get the 11:30pm train back to Falkirk High afterwards.

Bought my ticket for next year's Bonfest yesterday. £60 for the 3 nights. Brilliant time there last year, managed to catch 15 different bands between the pubs and the main event in the evenings.

Radio 2 in the house. Planet Rock, Absolute Classic Rock and Radio Scotland in the car. Get It On on radio Scotland is probably my favourite. The rock channels do play a lot of the same stuff but it's far better than some gash like Capital FM that my daughter insists on putting on!

I never really noticed but i'd had a good few beers by that stage! Maybe reni was making an 'artistic' point? Or maybe he just hates them all!

I was talking about the 1990 Stones gig at Hampden. Haven't seen them since.

I was at that REM gig too, left before the end as it was so bad. Seen the Rolling Stones and AC/DC twice at Hampden which have all been brilliant though so maybe more to do with the type of band than the venue. As for last night, i was on the pitch and enjoyed it as much for the atmosphere as the music. Never particularly liked Brown as a singer but the rest of the band are outstanding musicians IMO. Thoroughly enjoyed it overall, great night.

I did that stovies recipe yesterday, superb! Trying the pulled pork one at the weekend.

It was my 4th time seeing them so I didn't mind driving there and getting seated tickets just so she could go. She still said One Direction were better when she went to see them in Cardiff a couple of weeks ago! I suppose it's not cool to admit you love the same music as your Dad when you're 10! Judging by the energy Angus and Brian had last night, I think they may well just have one more tour left in them. Hopefully in 5 years time so you can take your daughter! :-)

I thought the sound wasn't as good as 2009 but it was still a brilliant night. Had to get seated tickets this time round but it was worth it so my 10 year old daughter could go and experience one of the world's greatest bands! Belting out Highway To Hell with her was a moment I'll always treasure! :-)
