Given Kdy and Dunfermline are similar in size and that the Pars have been underachieving for a number of years now, the fact they still manage to pull in 7,000 home fans for a midweek league one game is remarkable. Why on earth are we playing a friendly against Hibs? The last thing we need just now is any knocks or strains for first team players. It stinks of Murray wanting to do his old club a favour more than getting any benefit for us.

What would you rather have, HMRC ‘not best pleased’ or looking after players and their families? Clubs should make the most of the scheme up until the point it’s removed. If that means an extra couple of wages for players, it will make a big difference to them.
