Don't know what the deal with Glen was. I know two ex county players and both said he was one of the most natural goalscorers they had played with in the last ten years....but only in training. They couldn't understand why he never replicated this on match days.

Seemed a liability most of the time, but when he came back into team at end of season he was decent enough. He would be best described as an OK player.

I'm floored with flu at moment and need a film or 2 to pass the night - suggestions please.

I've been in the police for the last 8 years and we do a completely soul destroying mix of shifts. Early shift is either 7am-3pm or 7am-5pm. Backshift either 2pm-midnight or 5pm-3am. Nightshift is 9pm-7am - not longest shifts but doing no more than 4 shifts and getting 2 days off before new shift destroys you. Nightshift tonight - packed with flu - not a good mix! But generally night shifts are tremendous - no bosses about to stick their noses in!!

Yeah will trade in old one - just a few years old I think. Sadly no option for gas here....unbelievably! Workmate fitted a wood burning stove with heating and water system system running from it - might be another option.

Thanks for reply. Just bought a 2 bedroom house last year (would have bought bigger but lost £40k on last house - dam market crash) Combis relatively good on running costs?
