  1. Yes. That's correct. Remember, I said challenging for the league, not promotion, If you make the play offs it will be a achievement. Get ready for the long haul.
  2. Seeing the early posts in this topic from Queen's fans about being challengers for the league over the last few days I held back, but still felt they were delusional. Today confirmed it. It's a toughie to take on when you think you are likely to be going up. Its clear that that will not be the case. QOS fans : get used to the long haul. Still, result aside (which I'm clearly delighted with) it was a great day out and managed to visit a pub I'd not been in before - full of QOS fans - always good to see a pub full of local fans rather than O.F. mutants.
  3. Bookies refusing to give me odds on Dobbie scoring, so clearly a stick on certainty. If we can keep his goals to a minimum and close down any Austin McCann long range efforts, then we can take something. Ah, been a while since I've been at Palmerston.
  4. Nah, I said he was old, but not necessarily incontinent. but ye never know. Made himself look a right diddy though. It was well cringey.
  5. BTW, what was going on with the OAP speccy guy - clearly a Dumbarton fan - embarrassing himself by intentionally sitting on a clyde flag and then getting escorted away but then re-appearing at half time , pitch side - with a fork in hand! Silly old fool. If he's a groundsman, no wonder yer pitch is a disgrace.
  6. Piss poor game, but a dead rubber. Off the park, and absolute blinder. f**k the slow death arena.
  7. Asking for a friend - Are we allowed to smoke cigars in the whateversponsoristryingtoteakeustothecleaners stadium in a fortnight? Seriously though, I hope Dumbarton stay up, but governance wise they do look an utter shambles, even compared to Clyde.
  8. Admittedly from 100m away, I didn't look to me like it hit a Clyde player on the way out.
  9. Great leadership shown there in an important game. Heroic.
  10. Yikes. East fife defence (or lack of) in the build up and execution of that second goal!
  11. Clyde 2 - 2 The next Gretna. Seems a fair result in an entertaining match. What Goodie was playing at with the penalty, god knows, but he made up for it with the goal in the late stramash. I'd have taken that before the game.
