  1. Really sad for Shaughnessy. Should hopefully lead to a back 4 from now on (and no benching Portales)
  2. Sharp has decent potential. Had shockers when he first got his chance but has settled down and I'm quite comfortable with him in goal now. I have him in before Legzdins and still young. McCracken my first choice. I hear about Robertson and he probably needs to go out and get regular first team games. I'd play him v Celts in a middle 5 to start for his energy and aggression to ensure we are in it 1st half (and then have a fresh Cameron v tiring players 2nd half), don't think comparing to last time where a middle 4 were just overrun is fair on him.
  3. I've been hoping for a back 4 line up majority of the season so we can accommodate Sylla and Boateng at the same time. I'd get Robertson starting v Celts then replace with Cameron later on and Mulligan, replaced by Tiffony later on, with McCowan completing the middle 5. No way is Main going to be fit enough to start so Bakayoko in starting 11. Keep it a battle and tight then go for it.
  4. That's mixing it all up far too much. Surely the answer has to involve another home game for Dundee v TRFC. Surely the top banter fixture
  5. If I've worked this out properly it'll be an extra home game v Killie with St. Mirren having an extra home game v Hearts. On current form not sure which is better
  6. Looking at the weather forecast it's clear that there is a better chance that the game could go ahead on Tuesday rather than risking Wednesday. Think we should offer that to TRFC. Clearly they think it fine to play 2 games in 2 days so better all round. Easier than getting to Mars to ensure game is played
  7. Not forgetting this was the same game where they were an hour late for a game they advised their mutants that there was roadworks so leave early. Couldn't even manage an evening game on time. Could someone send a link to the statement where they called out their negligence, I must have missed it
  8. Depends what "standard" is used. Think of Scotland Georgia game, Dens has been more playable in all our call offs than that. Pressure will be on refs to make sure it goes ahead
  9. I saw this differently, think Killie targeted our right side as we are weak there and Dodgson didn't do nearly enough, just stood off his man and waited for Mulligan to turn up. Not really his fault as I understand he's more of a left sided defender. Was madness to let Kerr go and not have proper cover. When I say cover I can't say McGhee is a RB/RWB, absolutely a CH.
  10. I'd like to see Sylla and Boateng both playing but realistically we have to play a back 4 for this not to have too big an impact on the creativity side. We don't have a proper right back so can't see it happening other than v arse cheeks
  11. Really don't think Kerr has been given a chance under Doc. Only recall him starting against the top clubs (including the 1-0 over the Jambos). As far as I'm concerned, when he's played in RB or RWB he's been miles better than other options, particularly McGhee where I really don't understand Doc's favouritism. Not only this we still don't have anyone that is close to doing the job he can do with us. If we'd signed a right sided Beck then absolutely fair enough but we have this gaping hole that some of our squad are going to be shoe-horned into. Doc's done a really good job but this is one area he has made a monumental mess of, and continues to by the looks of it
  12. p.s. the rest of you half wit Kerr haters can join in. Go ahead, make my day
  13. You are our biggest problem, you and your ilk. Your prejudices, rather than having any understanding about squad cost v budget. McGhee, as he showed against Hearts, can be a solid centre half. Never in a million years is ha a RB, RWB. Repeatedly managers ave tried to replace a more than capable Kerr with, quite frankly, a waste of budget. Kerr should be well respected for what he does, and has done, which is a million miles above those that have been brought in, or put in his position. Go ahead, tell me, over all the managers that have been in charge, which top 5 players in Kerr's time, in order, has been better than Kerr? Put up or shut up!
  14. I've never bought into the Tyler is fab as RB/RWB, still I'm just dreading seeing McGhee on the team-sheet giving us absolutely nothing down the right again. Personally I'd go back 4 as well with Sylla Boateng in front
