  1. One goal in our last 8 and a half away games. Hard to see where the next goal will come from let alone the next point.
  2. Pretty sure everybody saw that coming from Connolly. Never really felt threatened until that point but we were all over the place defensively afterwards. Can’t afford to let him cost us any more points this season.
  3. This is the main problem. Three players who all do the same job, like to sit in front of the defence and offer no creativity or penetration. Butcher and Powers particularly should never play together. The one time Powers played by himself in midfield he looked good, we were excellent as a team and thrashed Thistle away.
  4. Banks wasnt playing Glass even. Whoever 21 was. First time I’d seen him tbh, looks a player.
  5. Thought we really struggled to get to grips with the formation for the first half hour or so but it seemed to just click at some point and from then on our shape was great and the game was only ever going one way. I think Neilson deserved at least some criticism for our performances during a spell at the start of the season, but today really convinced me that we have a very good manager on our hands. Really wasn’t easy to put a balanced team out with only one fit central midfielder but the system worked perfectly once we got going. Powers and Banks probably the stand outs along with Shankland obviously who was just unplayable. Good to see Pawlett back too, he blows hot & cold but still has a lot to offer.
  6. Seeing we’re now best priced 4/9 has given me the fear. Lots of people piling into some terrible value.
  7. This is getting funnier with every new declaration.
  8. March 2012 apparently, after a 3-0 win against Dunfermline. Also beat Rangers in that run. We did lose in the cup mid way through against Celtic in a game where Robbie Neilson was sent off.
  9. Huge opportunity here to give ourselves a bit of breathing space at the top. A win would put us 9 points clear with Ayr not playing again until the very end of the month. Would be ideal if we could try and make this season as stress-free as possible but it’d be typical of us to drop points here. Having said that, 2-1 United, Clark double, late consolation goal for Queens
  10. This went from absolutely cruising to hanging on for dear life by the end.
  11. Who’d have thought that playing a slow centre back at right back and a right back at left back wouldn’t work? Not only are we a shambles defensively but now have two fullbacks who offer absolutely nothing going forward.
  12. As long as Neilson learns from the last two games it’ll go down as nothing more than a minor blip. He’ll be well aware of where we went wrong, I just hope he’s not too stubborn to change things back. I don’t think he was necessarily wrong to try and bring Pawlett into the team but it hasn’t worked out and he needs dropped.
  13. We’re desperately missing a central midfielder who can take the ball off the defenders and make things happen. King must be really poor if he can’t get a look ahead of Stanton.
  14. I thought Appere was our only decent player today tbh. Again we looked much better with Harkes on the pitch and Butcher centre back, although it was too late. Clark’s sitter would’ve changed the game too, can’t say you’ve been hard done by when you miss chances like that.
  15. He and Matty Smith were subbed off at half time. Neilson was there watching the 1st half but not the 2nd.
