Maybe the best thing for us is not to get promoted, another season with 15,000 crowds would surely be a wake up call to the investors,, that no matter how many loans ashley gives. If the fans are not putting money in. And the playing squad is not strengthend,( players out of contract at the end of this season) they will get no return on their investments, as one investment group have already sold their share...as they have no confidence in the current board...

He has also said that celtic are losing close on 10 million a season without rangers in the league, through various commercial deals,match day revenues...etc..champions league money for celtic is crucial to the development of the playing side of the club,without this money the quality of players will deteriorate making it harder every year. Lawell wants us back make no mistake about it,he just doesn't want us to be a threat to his champions league pot of gold.....conflicted interested?????

I'm far more interested in Scottish football regaining some sort of reputation in Europe,yes I love celtic to get pumped by anybody...yes without the 10 to 15 million they will struggle to attract players to the club,probably needing to sell as has happened in the past couple of seasons,yes it may bring them closer to the pack but if our top clubs cannot attract or even retain their best players the league is going to suffer in quality... But never mind it will be competitive....

So you would rather see Scottish football further decline.....

Commercially the Scottish game is struggling celtic apart... You only have to look at the shirt sponsors on all of the kits..motherwell-cash converters...st mirror - blacks.. Aberdeen - team recruitment - Inverness - orion group......etc...

Not sure about this deal to be honest,the fact that they aren't boasting about how much it's worth gives me the feeling it's worth significantly less than the current deal..... black on red, could be trouble!!!!!
