  1. Christ, we’ll be lucky to escape with anything from today’s game. That bench is so woefully thin in terms of experience. I still think we’ll manage third place, but the loss of Lawless is going to be massive I think. A lot of teams end up having two men mark him which leaves space for others, can’t think the same will be the case for Mackenzie. Heart says 1-1 Head says 3-1 Rovers
  2. Just home from that and it was absolutely brutal watching bar a flurry of half chances in the first 20ish minutes. Our defence looks absolutely devoid of any confidence, everyone looked nervy on the ball especially in the second half. So many loose passes , it was wild Like has been said, when Lawless and Fitzpatrick have an off game we’re guff. We’ve nobody to replace them with and we rely too much on Graham. Not wanting to panic though, Dolan is a young manager and (as 99.9% of managers do) will go through a rough patch. Hopefully we can sort it out for the next few games or we could fall adrift the playoff places. 11 points from the last 10 games and we’re still third is absolutely bonkers. Some league this.
  3. Nonsense take. It’s his first managerial job. Every manager has gone through a rough time, we just need to back him. I can’t remember you saying anything positive about Thsitle.
  4. This just shows as much as we complained about the standard of officiating on Friday night, these bad performances have been coming. The amount of goals we’ve conceded this season is wild, and recently the goals against us haven’t exactly been great football (they haven’t needed to be!), it’s basic defending. Giving ourselves a mountain to climb when we gift away goals.
  5. This goalkeeping situation is horrific. He’s not being helped by his defenders though. Basic long balls and it unlocks our defence… end this season already please.
  6. I reckon nearly all us Jags fans can’t be annoyed at last night, the Pars deserved winners. I really want to be annoyed at the ref and blame him for us losing that game, but I can’t. The horrific officiating just papers over the cracks in our team that just haven’t been addressed all season. Like has been said by others, the amount of goals we have scored against us is ridiculous. Certainly not form for a team looking to gain promotion. It’s all well and good to say we’ll just need to scored 4 if the opposition scores 3… but we seem to concede 3 every week! In particular, the ‘defending’ from Muirhead for Todd’s goal was amateur hour, playing offside that high up is unreal. Take nothing away from the touch and finish though, it was really well taken. And our goalkeeping situation is just… ooft. Not sure what the chat is with Mitchell but he’s better than Sneddon imo, and 100% better than Stewart.
  7. Some absolutely shocking refereeing decisions tonight, our chopped off goal and really we couldn’t have any complaints if Robinson got sent off. But we were terrible second half, offered nothing and caused our own problems. 3 goals shipped again and our goalkeeping situation has got worse (somehow). Fair play to Dunfermline, didn’t really seem to get sucked in by the refereeing omnishsmbles.
  8. Lucky to not get a red card there, terrible challenge. But please just blow the final whistle now, this is hard to watch
  9. That is absolutely abysmal defending, trying to play offside there is criminal.
  10. Fitzpatrick looks so leggy, tbh that side of the pitch is a shambles. Here’s hoping he can kick on tonight
