To be fair they have boosted crowds for the Rose. 2nd and 3rd highest gate for us behind Bo’ness. I don’t want them in the league but I know local fans of those clubs came to watch them that day. I think Celtic especially was because the first team weren’t playing that day.

Wouldn’t it not make more sense to make the WoS League Cup optional as that’s the only teams that take part in the Junior Cup?

There’s been plenty chat on the fans forum. I wouldn’t say he’s lost control, I’m glad there’s a reaction. He’s right though, squad not up to the standard of the league. Our best 13/14 are but when we have to roll out further into the squad we struggle. Big summer for him and the management team to prove they can bring in the level required to challenge for that top 4. That should be our goal next season, getting into the challenge cup. We had a really short break last season however and have had some horrendous injuries. Big players too - Thom, Allison, Skinner, Heaver, Paterson, McMullan have all been out for long spells and they’d have all started every week if fit. Both could be linked so more than happy for us to have another crack next year. Need a RB, CB and a CF badly and we won’t be too far off.

Haha. You are fishing hard here. What we are is probably the best of the teams outside the top 6. EK the best, the next 5 physical then us. if we get a team playing football we’ll be more than a match to punt and run but it’ll take time. I just hope we don’t resort to that style of play to try compete.

Thought a draw would have been fair. Rose better team for the first half, BU for the second. Good to see a big crowd again. Well be back at you next year, there’s not that much of a gap you lot are just more physical and more dangerous at set pieces.

He’s really coming on. Looking forward to seeing him next season after we’ve had a good break and preseason! Needs to add goals now but getting the chances and playing well.

If we had a full squad I’d agree but we are down to the bare bones and too inconsistent as a result. McMullan getting injured has been a huge blow when he was leading and dragging us to wins. We also have 3 of the top 6 to play. Fair enough at home and I can see us getting the odd result but not all three. I reckon AR will pip us to 7th too with their run of form.

You are pretty much a shoe in. Cant see it being anyone other than EK, Bo’ness, Cumbernauld and Tranent now.
