  1. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/dermot-desmond-predicts-celtic-rangers-22703353 Is it going to happen or is it not, within the next 10 years perhaps??
  2. I should have my booster box & doubles list finished by Friday
  3. The best I've seen so far is Argos who sell 100 packet boxes for £70, which is a tenner cheaper than anywhere else I've seen to date.
  4. KLM fly to Switzerland from Scotland stopping in the Dam for an hour on the way. The last time I checked they were cheaper than easyjet at the time, whilst checking for flights to Zurich.
  5. I didn't watch this and watched the WWII German thing on Beeb2 instead. It just as well I caught a glimpse of the Polish entry http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2014/05/13/poland-eurovision-2014-benny-hill_n_5314470.html?1399973161
  6. There's plenty of museums in Amsterdam to go to (if you like that sort of thing) including doing the conga through Anne Frank's house, which was a close favourite behind the Heineken Museum.Like the afore mentioned if you are struggling, you can get trains to other cities which only take 45 mins tops. The best of these would be Alkmaar,Haarlem,Leiden,Utrecht,Den Haag and even Rotterdam. You also have the smaller towns like Delft,Gouda,Edam,Enkhuizen & Hoorn, which are all special in their own way.I suspect that this may be your 1st time over there,so I think there will be enough for you and the missus to keep you's occupied. This website might help you out further as it has done with me over the years http://www.inyourpocket.com/Netherlands/Amsterdam
  7. Kings of Convenience - Declaration of Dependence.
  8. On the last thread I said "No" but now I'm very much at an undecided stage, and until everything is thoroughly explained - which I hope this white paper will do,then I'll probably remain undecided until the day of the vote.

  10. Anybody had those 4 bird roasts out of Aldi?? I'm going to try one of these during the weekend to see if it''s better than the usual turkey at xmas.
  11. They have a brewery there as well called The Half Moon, although I had a sample of their Bruggse Zot and it tasted like piss,so I'd maybe try the Straffe Hendrik if I was there again. http://www.halvemaan.be/index.html
  12. Belgium is an alcoholic's paradise, and Brugge is a great place to start. All the best bars are in or around the city center so you can't go wrong. I've went over there a few times with P&O,and every time I've struggled to get back to the bus without getting lost - that's how bad it can get. There are usually loads to do in Brugge, but if you fancy a wee break from the norm. You can get a 10 train ride to the coastal resort of Ostend (Oostende). They have a restaurant there called KoeKoek, and the chicken is f**king magic. But you should have a lot of fun over there
  13. Didn't the mayor of Amsterdam ban weed shops from selling to foreign nationals not long ago,in part of his crackdown on sleaze For your guide on hookers. Goto hookers.nl - with google translate (as it's in Dutch) to find the best ride before you go
