  1. Cheers Guys. The Flamingo's were actually shot in Rancho Texas Zoo in Lanzarote. Really hoping to get out and get some real wildlife when i get a decent camera. 40th in September so hopefully the Mrs will sort something. The Road & Burn one is my own favourite, it was taken in the Kilpatrick Hills up behind where I live, we walk up to the Greenside Reservoir, some cracking views up there.
  2. Have enjoyed spending the last few days working through this thread. Some very talented people on here. I'm just in the learning phase at the moment so just using my iphone when out and about. Sorry to bring the quality barrier crashing down but would like to share some photos on here. I'm sure ill be on here soon enough asking questions about equipment etc
  3. Any idea how members can see the accounts now? I’m a member but missed the AGM as was too busy at the time.
  4. If this is the wrong place, please move it. Was wanting to share a football quiz and see how it goes down. How it works I provide 6 clues. Each clue will lead to a letter in the alphabet. Once you have all 6 letters, they should make up the name of a British football team. To win you need to provide the 6 answers and the team name. In order to solve the clues, you'll need a bit of knowledge of football, google, google maps and especially google street view. Clues below Clue 1 This spiders nest sits in the shadows of the oldest nest in the world. To the right of the pavilion, marks a black and white Legend. This legend of spiders was flushed in the Loo. Who is this Legend? Take the 9th letter of his name. Clue 2 The father of his Babes stands tall before the glass. Walk his Way to the Football Hotel, a Bee you'll pass! HoneyBee or BumbleBee, you tell me. Take the 2nd letter of the type of Bee Clue 3 As Yer Blues march to the dock singing Hail Hail They search for The Hidden Gem, the holy grail Lying in front of the sunken ship, Walter and Lightbody navigate the trip. Locate the Gem, find which Country meets the local city and take the 3rd letter. Clue 4 Pre Metropolitan, a Calderon lies in ruins If you stand upon the rubble you will see the school of the Great Captain Go there, find the Argentine Club and take the 5th Clue 5 In the land of Silver, the City of Rosary Beads answered the call A baby born to Jorge and Celia, a Dwarf, too fragile, too small. The Lands second coming, unlike any human, the Mozart of Futbol They call him El Dios and honor him with huge mural's. This particular mural sits on Freedom Ave. Take the trip, look up to God above his flags and the find the name on the yellow card. Take the 7th Letter of the name Clue 6 The Home of Football houses many legends From Rocky to Dennis, Adams and Jennings. The Invincibles dazzled before Bright Horizons Delivering trophies for the Gunners for seasons BUT, who is providing the delivery at the North Bank? Take the 7th letter Good Luck
  5. Imagine being 2 wee guys at 18 deciding to try make it as wrestlers and 20 years later winning the tag titles in the Main event of wrestlemania. Good few drinks deep but nearly greeting at that
  6. Need a come down before the main event! This will do!
  7. I think I’m following what you’ve done there and pretty sure you’re roughly getting the same answer as me overall. it is re-distributive, however, it mainly moves revenue from Celtic/ Rangers to the smaller 7 clubs. Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs would remain roughly the same. I’ve used numerous models over numerous years and every time the result shows those 3 clubs would not gain or loss materially. The end result is that the smaller 7 clubs get much closer to the middle 3. Even though the top 2 lose out, they still remain miles ahead in terms of overall revenues. Given those 3 middle clubs are the most likely to provide a challenge, the above re-distribution model only makes it harder for them. That’s not to say its not worth pursuing, just that it won’t make it more likely that we get another winner of the league.
  8. Always find people suggesting that we split the gate receipts for league games. If anyone took the time to do the math, splitting gates would likely be counter productive.
  9. Surely that's all relative though. You have no idea as an Aberdeen fan what its like to support a shite team like say Morton or East Stirling. Fans of those clubs would consider Aberdeen a vastly more successful club. On the topic of Non-OF clubs winning the league, its quite simple really. US Style play-offs is the way forward. You can set it up to guarantee at least 4 OF games a season as well as ensuring a max of one OF club playing in the Final. No-one would want it though
  10. Absolutely wonderful stuff from start to finish
  11. Maybe if you have a jobby Martin, yer mammy can wipe yer arse for you Martin.
