This thread should be moved from SPL to Division 3 banter now! Regan has to resign now; his postition is untenable after his scaremongering before the vote. So proud of the SFL clubs sticking to their principles. Hopefully now in the next 2 or 3 seasons we can get the changes needed to transform the game. 42 teams- 2 leagues lead by one body (SFL) Premership 18 teams; 2 games against each team home and away, 34 game season, which means 4 games less as to allow a proper winter break. 1st division 24 teams; 46 games- more games for division 1 as they can then raise more revenue- pithces in division 1 become artifiscial allowing them to play during the prem's winter break harnessing more interest. Id then dissolve the juniors into the SFA and the highland league; and east and southern scotland league and then create a regional system that will allow a proper pyramid system. The power of the Old Firm is now broken for a few years- lets push the reforms through now
