  1. Clement made the rearranged games sound like he was having to replan for Barca and Real rather than the Dees and Ross County.
  2. Watching highlights RC were causing Rangers huge problems against both full-backs. Leaving them for dead in the build up to scoring.
  3. Seems to be an awful lot of experienced soil mechanics engineers here tonight. I can tell by their comparison of two different areas of ground and the analysis "the ground over there should have the exact same drainage as that ground over there" Devastating insight.
  4. Rain all day and night forecast from lunch time tomorrow. It will get the nod probably, no matter the state of the pitch. Will be interesting to see how it copes with play when actually raining.
  5. The problem there is that a dry period is forecast then the forecast is for it to start to rain around 4pm tomorrow and through the night, just as the covers come off.....
  6. This game will be given the nod I suppose. I think the real problem is that steady rain is forecast in the lead up to and during the actual match, which could be fun.
  7. A must-win. A loss here and I can't see Raith getting the points back with only 4 to play.
  8. I doubt the budget is much to work with. Very few actually work for the BBC. They work free-lance, presumably paid a fee. It becomes a perfect storm of retired players (in particular OF) with pretty much zero media and broadcasting skills, trotting out the same tedious cliche each week. The result is what I stopped tuning in to a good while back.
  9. Serious question - do people honestly think their club at boardroom level is going to reply to an email saying, "Aye, we totally agree, we are dumping it"? You will get corporate-speak. So, "shaping the future" is what you will get. Chase, all you want.
  10. I think I typed that as the 3rd was being scored, such was the rate of goals
  11. If it is a coaching fault why don't teams do it for 90 minutes. I can't think of a game involving any teams where the last 10 minutes haven't involved a nothing-to-lose "cavalry charge" to get back in to a game. You see it all the time. Teams dig in and do their job. Yet we are utterly incapable of defending 2 goal leads and not only dropping points but losing the match. The players can't do it. They lack the belief and teamwork to do it. It happens time and again.
