  1. It is weird. If your home form's not good it's generally a sign that the dressing room and manager are not united (Jocky Scott), but that's clearly not the problem this year. Obviously, we'll need to be better at home in the Championship if we want to survive or even challenge. Is it tactical? It is mental? Is it the home fans being torn faced, moaning gits? It's difficult to tell from overseas.
  2. That's just massive complacency and it's not like we've got a lot to be complacent about! WTF was McCann out wide about? What's Wighton's role supposed to be? We're top of the league, but I still feel like it's going to be a long hard season. The loan boys seemed to know how to pass the ball for the 5 mins he gave them though.
  3. 3 games in. The only team with 9 points. The only team with no goals conceded. The performances haven't been dominant, but that's about as good as start as you could want.
  4. Actually it was pretty hot when we won there first time round. Moray Firth was like a garden pond. Same again would do me.
  5. Good start. We fell out of it a little bit in the second half of the half. A lot of Thistle chances came from us giving the ball away. Expect Yogi will have a word about that at half time.
  6. Tons of good news on infrastructure. Training at Rosyth, Youth Academy, freeing up the current gym space to be revenue generating. Was really impressed by the investors commitment in the face of the abuse that Ross had faced. Also, really moved when Ross chose not to talk about his decision to step down, He was clearly quite emotional. I also really liked Ross talking about being back on the NW stand in the future, abusing linesmen. That's where I know him from and we should all feel grateful to have a chairman from the terraces. We may not be lucky enough to get another.
  7. Well done Hibees. Ha ha ha ha ha Sevco.
  8. The time difference to Singapore is now 8 hours, which makes the 11pm kick off a tiny bit less convenient. PG managed to help me kick my addiction to Pars TV. Still not sure whether I'll tune in tonight. It would be good fo finally see a win/some decent football/a bit of effort from the Pars, but I'm not entirely convinced any of that'll happen. Give me five good reasons to tune in. Feck it, give me one.
  9. Not terrible. One piece of terrible defending and a total fluke and we come away from Greenock with a point. Oddly I feel better with OFW in goal, but I'm not sure why.
  10. The Pars defence look pretty assured in possession. The last time I remember a threat like that was Toddy, but you never knew where he'd end up. Graham and Gazputis could be a great pairing.
  11. I actually quite like the commentary. They have their moments, but their knowledge of the opposing teams is generally really good and they try hard to be fairly objective. Also, I'm an ex-pat, so I kind of have to like it.
  12. Hope the Fifers beat Dundee. Pars were the better team, until they weren't. If you don't score when you're on top you don't deserve to win games. We were on top in the first leg and didn't convert. We were on top in the first half of this leg and didn't convert, so we're going to get punished if we let one in. I think Stevie has done enough to stay, but there's a lot of vitriol floating about. Next season should be a league that anyone can win, but time for a couple of days off before worrying about the Euros.
