  1. Made tablet for the first time today, it turned out really well. Ended up with loads of it too, so days of gum-bleeding sugary indulgence await. May need to ask for a prosthetic foot for Christmas this year though.
  2. Nice to see a some love for Vintage Trouble out there. I saw them in Edinburgh a couple of years ago, and their performance then, meant my expectations for last night were sky-high. Despite this, my high hopes were still exceeded. So much talent, incredible energy: mind-blowing. Had the pleasure of meeting them afterwards as well, bloody nice blokes one and all.
  3. Going to see Vintage Trouble at Glasgow's ABC tomorrow night. They're a scintillating live act,and I truly love them; in a mostly non-sexual way. Entertainment guaranteed..
  4. Damn, I neglected that when I was doing the sums in my head. I've frequently been involved in games where the scores have exceeded 147 myself, but that's generally due to the scores of fouls commited. These frames generally last an hour or more. It's probably like watching Terry Griffiths on ketamine.
  5. Ah free ball. I forgot that even existed. Thank you welshbairn.
  6. The red is only obligatory before they've been cleared from the table. Call me cynical but I think you might be making up this additional brown ball Dee Man.
  7. Thanks for your help, but that would give you 151, not 152,
  8. A snooker question. I was reading an article in The Herald today about a snooker prodigy, it featured a section about a famous Glasgow snooker club where he trains. The article stated that said club was the first in Scotland to witness a 147 break, it went on to say a 152 break was recorded there, the highest in Scotland apparantly. How is it possible to record a 152 break? Obviously if the opponent makes a foul or two before the maximum break, the total score will exceed 147, but how can a break itself reach 152?
  9. The Kia advert where that band rehearse and perform their abominable cover of Ever Fallen In Love. I don't know if they're a real band or some actors pretending to be a band. It doesn't matter. I think I hate them.
  10. Hats of to SSN's make up department. Not a trace of red eyes or smudged make up on Jim White.
  11. Reading the TV page of an English based newspaper earlier in the day, I was chuffed to see Best In Show was on ITV this evening. Happiness though turned to quivering rage, when I discovered STV were offering in it's place, a documentary on Harry Secombe followed by pictures of lighthouses and witless text messages on The Nightshift. The anger at STV was then supplanted by annoyance at myself as I realised that I had forgot ITV England is on offer through Sky. The weekend's in tatters.
