  1. I was just casually scrolling through tiktok (don't judge) and up popped an advert featuring Jacob Blyth flogging an ear wax removal tool. Glad to see he has found his level
  2. With all the talk of making a return on his investment, who is to say that has to be a return via the club? He could see a return by selling rights to Motherwell FC: Welcome to the Rollercoaster around the world with the club benefitting from a shared of the media rights, the exposure and American shirt sales. No downside from our side but would fit in with the Well society keeping control and him not wanting to ruin the club for short term gain
  3. Stream is maybe overegging it slightly. More like score updates from somewhere. I was definitely working in 2005 during the game, definitely hiding to find out what was happening on my phone and definitely was sitting among loads of rangers fans at the play off. No way I could be getting mixed up if I wasn't at the Celtic game
  4. There have also been rangers fans checking his old tweets. I saw one person refer to his tackle as a "sectarian tackle" because he is Irish and tweeted about Celtic 10 years ago
  5. Definitely not because I watched Skippy Sunday on a dodgy stream on my phone while hiding behind the bananas in Morrisons. Could have been at the other side of the stand from you but there were definitely plenty around me that day and barely an empty seat whereas the same area was pretty sparsely populated for the previous 19 games
  6. Maybe it was skewed in my memory from where I was sitting. My seat at the time was in row V up the back of the cooper and there was an entire row of about 8 of them directly in front of me as well as others at both sides. Everyone else was a regular so they were very conspicuous in their attempts to blend in until walking out en mass as the second went in
  7. I was raging that I missed that game through having to work my weekend job. I was very much party to similar scenes in the playoff Vs Rangers more recently. There were more Motherwell fans that day as a playoff final is a bigger draw than an end of season league game and also most of the infiltrators didn't make it as far as half time but it was hilarious watching more of them being outed as each goal went in
  8. With the nature of how donations are set up to the WS, how confident can they be that the entire membership were given the opportunity to vote? Some of those donations would have been set up a decade ago under old email addresses etc which would affect the turnout. My dad contributed a lump sum and then monthly payments until he died a couple of years back. I contacted the well society at the time to take him off the membership list but how many others succumbed to COVID or otherwise passed away yet are being included in the figures? Maybe something to look at if there are consistently low response rates as you would generally expect people to be more engaged with something they have financially contributed to rather than other survey types.
  9. Motherwell seem to very much have a captain's curse. Is there a huge amount of pressure behind the scenes with the role? because it seems that you can be a solid player but the minute you get the armband, you turn into the NBA players in space jam after their talent is stolen. It's happened with almost every captain I can remember from the last 20 years where performances drop massively when they take the role.
  10. I believe Sir James of McFadden put it best when he said Robinson was a hammer throwing **** Clearly set out to injure our best striker in the cup therefore meaning we can't score in a brothel when it comes to the league game.
  11. I wonder if we kept him after the window because he needed a visa rather than becoming a free agent and having to go back home. Would be very surprised if he doesn't have something lined up in a league with strange transfer windows as otherwise he'd be happy to sit tight until January in case Theo gets injured
  12. What's to stop a group of 54 friends going on a bus trip to a pub which happens to be near a ground? Nothing to do with football so can't see how this would apply
  13. That seems like a "he's not quite good enough for the premier League but would be useful to have in a year when we get relegated"
  14. You forgot the Cheshire women's group and the more recent phenomenon of the twitter illegal drug supermarket
  15. Not sure you can assume his religious background just because he comes from Northern Ireland
