Emusic
17 April 2012 - 20:37
Since Napster's service has all but finished since the merge with Rhapsody, I need to find another download service.
Was looking at emusic, and see one of their plans is £18 a month for up to 47 tracks. I was paying £15 a month to Napster for unlimited downloads, so it's a bit of a killer, but I can't find any other alternative, other than d/loading stuff illegally, which I don't really want to do. Itunes and Spotify are ok, but they only offer straight sales rather than monthly plans which include downloads when it comes to owning stuff outright.
Anyone know of a service whereby I can pay a monthly fee and have either unlimited or a high number of downloads a month? -

Brechin on Saturday. Only real saving grace here is that we seem to have their number this season, and a repeat of the last scoreline there would be kinda nice.
I've already let big McNiff know that his mob need to beat Rovers, so hopefully the gap will be that bit smaller come Saturday evening.
I wonder if one of our strikers will actually score in this game? Ha, I know, don't be stupid, eh?
Ach, at least there's Hudsons...

Who's Going Down then?
30 March 2012 - 22:18
Crunch time in the battle to avoid the drop then, and who do the good folks at P&B think will be playing in Division 3 next season?
In the 'in the deep doo doo' corner, are the mighty Beanos, bottom of the league, but with a management team who firmly believe they can escape.
In the 'sauntering along aw gallus like' corner, are Albion Rovers, many people's tips to be relegated before Easter, who keep defying the odds by pulling out unlikely victories.
In the 'jist aboot awright' corner, are Forfar, who will probably stay up thanks to that lanky bastįrd who only ever seems to score against us.
So? Get voting, you know it makes sense. -
Where do you go for a swally at an away game?
20 March 2012 - 17:42
Of all the away games you go to, where is your usual bevvy haunt pre/post match?
For us, it'll be...
Arbroath - Wetherspoons in the town from about 12, then Tutties at half time (and beyond if we're getting humped - this option has been used regularly recently...). Still one of Scottish football's best away days, even if Tutties doesn't have the charm it had in the 80s.
Cowdenbeath - Not been for a few visits, as I'm not going back there, but used to be the bar in the ground. The last couple of times the guys have been there, it's been that wee pub just outside the ground - Jimmie's is it? Or Hat-tricks? Both these names ring a bell.
Forfar - For many years it was the Stag Hotel, then the sports bar when the had it, sometimes even the Caledonian. Not had a Saturday game there for years - Looking forward to Saturday - so no idea where we'll end up this time.
East Fife - Only real choice is bar at the ground. Decent.
Dumbarton - Bowling Club. Again, quite good, and decent prices.
Airdrie - Naewhere. In and oot as quickly as possible.
Albion Rovers - Went to Owens for the first time, and it seems to have had a makeover since the last time we were there, admittedly many years ago. Leaving an hour earlier for the last game of the season to have an extra few shandies in there.
Stenhousemuir - Again, nowhere. Normally a few drinks in Stirling first, then the train across. The hospitality is first class though.
Brechin - Another good away trip. Hudsons is a popular choice now. Barmaids are great

Never tire of the names in the title.
Anyway, thought I'd start this thread, so I can check on Sunday to see how we did.
We're in hospitality on Saturday, so there's no way I'll remember anything that happens on the pitch.
