I was at the same primary school as Duncan Ferguson, Borestone Primary in Stirling.
Canny think of any famous players who went to my high school, Stirling High, but I'm sure there must have been some.
In terms of non-footballers, the tv presenter Kirsty Young went to Stirling High. She's a right miserable cow though, eh? -

It's clear the 3rd choice keeper has been chosen as he's an up and coming young keeper with lots of potential who is being taken for the experience. Otherwise Carson, (Ben) Foster, or Robinson would have been taken. Among many other better candidates.
Fraser Forster is absolutely fucking hopeless, that's why he's not going.
Still, it wouldn't be Celtic fans without some bed-wetting over some perceived injustice. It's what they do best. -

I think the French have a decent outside chance. They're far more organised than they were under the last clown, and have got some top notch players who've mostly all had great seasons at club level. The boy Giroud from Montpellier will be absolutely buzzing right now. They should win the group faily comfortably, and then, who knows?
