  1. Buckie, I believe, have said that the Celtic money will go towards fixing their Dundee-esque pitch. They've been playing their last half dozen home matches (or so) at neutral grounds.
  2. Or allowing homeless for 30+ years Clyde to remain in the league? Looks like one of them might not be come next season.
  3. Going to be unpopular here, but I don't rate Bray. He's pacy, but too lightweight, imo. Jones had a poor game, but the rest of the team played well, esp, Cairns, Booth, Dingwall and Jeffreys. Soapy is showing his class again. It was a game of two halves thanks to the wind.
  4. Due to our fairly impressive home form, it's a home win for me.
  5. Two weeks ago, Clyde fans were incensed when Forfar celebrated scoring a goal in front of their fans,, which is an ecstatic moment . Now they're backing their player who went out his way to challenge to try and start a fight with a supporter after the final whistle, which was, imo, premeditated. His team mates were pulling him away. Scullion caused the issue by trying to start the fight. All players get verbal abuse from the opposing fans, we've all shouted something at some time. Don't get me wrong, the BR fan deserves a lifetime ban from all football grounds for his behaviour as well as a visit from the police.
  6. We might end back there due to footballing reasons, not financial ones.
  7. How about another scenario that I've not seen mentioned (I think). What happens if Edinburgh City decide that they can't continue at a national level and drop out? Would team 42 stay up? Would team 42 and HL and LL winners play a mini league between themselves with the first and second going into L2?
  8. With all this behaviour from some Clyde fans at Stranraer and now Forfar, might be interesting how they react at Borough Briggs on the last game of the season.
  9. A strange comment in my opinion. Both teams got new managers roughly at the same time with your choice being a very experienced man. Also why would we have been favourites to go down as we'd only been bottom for about three games (on goal difference from Clyde who'd played a game more) whereas Clyde to returned bottom and have been in that position for the past sixteen games. We were four points clear of Clyde when Hale took over. Are we still in danger of being bottom? Most definitely. Favourites? Nope.
  10. That's probably the reason I hope Clyde go down. TBF, they're not that bad now.
  11. Do you think that Jimmy Bell is looking up thinking "That's my boy!"
  12. Quite funny talking about whether the likes of EK and others have grounds suitable for SPFL when Clyde haven't a ground of their own since 1990 or thereabouts.
