The only reason I'm not going tomorrow is the £18 entry. It's hardly bank breaking, but add in transport, half time pie and bovril and suddenly its not the usual cheap day out. Onto the football, tough one to pick. I can see both teams fancying their chances so possibly a score draw is on the cards.

Bonnyrigg Rose v Forfar Athletic
ham89 replied to SlipperyP's topic in Scottish League 2 General Chatter
Great start to our journey in the big leagues, has definitely settled the nerves a little. Really positive to see how well we managed the game, certainly gives a bit of early hope that we can push into the top half. It's very early days of course, away next week will be a test. -
Thanks very much, hope you're right! Likewise, hope you lot do well. I was at Stirling Uni when Falkirk used to train there, so minor soft spot to see you progress back up.

Aye, the entry/exit is a bit chaotic. Someone else was complaining about a lack of online ticket options, official attendance was 1,507 (from 2,400 capacity). We absolutely need to be sorting ticketing and entry out. Cant rely on paper printed tickets for bigger games, and solely pay at the gate for smaller ones. Cowdenbeath in the playoffs was an excellent example of doing it right. Tickets easy to buy online with a QR code entry scanner, and despite also having essentially one entrance, it was easy to get in and out. Maybe something we can look at improving for next year.

A large part of the issues with NDP is that we have climbed from the Juniors (where this is pretty much the norm for a ground) to League 2 in a matter of a few years. The slope isn't great, and will be hard to fix, but the rest of the ground has seen fairly significant investment each year for the last 5-10. There's absolutely still a lot to do, but it's clear to see the improvements that have been made. Unfortunately, we dont have the finances of Kelty to just build a bespoke new ground, so we'll just have to be patient and keep the current model going. Regarding the game last night, Falkirk looked excellent in spells but obviously just lacking a little bit of match sharpness. Fully expect them to be romping League 1 next year, but who knows. Away fans were in excellent voice, really appreciated having such a vocal away support to make the evening enjoyable. Got to wish Falkirk all the best in the next round when they pump Clyde on Saturday. LOL at Hibs.

It's not going to be a sell out by the looks of it, but I'd think fairly close. Maybe 2,000?

Anyone have any idea what's going on for Greenock Vs Bonnyrigg away tickets. The website suggests buying through the online portal for sections F&G, but since day one has consistently said no tickets are available. I'm assuming tickets will be available at the ground, but generally like to be organised.

Rose have tweeted that they're both fine and one has commented himself to say it was dehydration. Glad they are both alright, but football terraces can be hot boxes in warm weather. Take some precautions, folks!

The second guy was just next to my Brother-in-law. Apparently fainted whilst wearing jeans and a puffer jacket. Was like 27C today, so every chance it was exactly this. Hope they are both alright.

3 way fight between Falkirk, Hibs and Bonnyrigg then!
