  1. Results like Friday, when spine of team consists of Millar (x2), Marshall & Mackin, are inevitable. Serious lack of mobility & work rate. This is the carbon copy of the Paul Wright season & that took years to recover from. IMO it's time to write off this season, tell quite a few in squad not to turn up & give the 20's boys a run out, at least they'll give some effort. Manager has to be given time & get his own players but some of his decisions have been baffling
  2. Just watched the highlights from last night to confirm my opinion, how many goals come from players unwilling to put their head on the ball, it's embarrassing, especially the first goal, 3 of them back away from making a header or even an attempt. Some players are running on empty & some are just empty jersey's
  3. Cautiously more confident than I was after Petershill Hurlford are a team we always seem to get player(s) sent off against though
  4. It did feel like Ben was going to say more last night then remembered he was on camera
  5. The truth is we don't deserve to stay in the league, we have the same players working their socks off while others swan around the pitch & the same players making the same mistakes each game but stay in the team, it's like we're hoping that these mistakes will just disappear We brought in Ally McInnes, he's conceded quite a few goals & at no point can I remember thinking he should have done better with any of those goals!! I also feel quite sorry for young Josh Louden, he's stepped up from 20's & hasn't done much wrong but seems an easy target for some of his team mates, while the experienced heads round about him get an easy ride As far as I'm concerned out of the squad we have at the moment I'd happily keep a handful & the rest could go today, the ironic thing is Chris Strain would walk into this team
  6. Definitely need 3 points tonight to give ourselves a fighting chance, been a long 3 months since our last league win!!!!
  7. Gormley has to go before it's too late, even if it means players & others follow him out the door!! Although, whoever comes in (I agree with earlier Swift comment) would have a massive job on their hands. As I've said before, team is nowhere near good enough & that's down to manager In all the time Chris Strain was manager there wasn't many "doings", it's now a fortnightly occurrence
  8. Team has gone backwards at an alarming rate, reminds me of the time we went from Mark Shanks to Paul Wright & we know how that ended!! Go back to start of season & players interviews, it was all about being competitive & competing at top of the league, obviously talk a good game 6 conceded at home to Talbot & Darvel, 5 away at Clydebank, any decent team will take goals off us "but that's football" & "they're a good team ain't they" seem to be the answers from management team When the 4 or 5 changes a game are being made, does anyone remember a time when these changes made had a positive impact??
  9. The balance of the team is all over the place!! 2 central midfielders at centre half, a right back playing left back, a centre half in midfield along with another 3 central midfielders No width, no creativity & 1 ball puts "defence" bang in trouble Seems to be if you're signed this season you're automatically better than what was already in place & so far I can't say I've seen that In for a long hard slog this season & be lucky to stay away from relegation places
  10. Strain has run his course with the buffs hopefully a more constructive person takes over to get the club to the next level ... Who would this more constructive person be in your opinion?
