  1. I do as well. He’s just a bit of a wind-up merchant, I don’t think he’s ever done anything that’s especially nasty or awful, just taking the piss and trying to put the opposition off. I get it if you are playing him mind, he’d be annoying as f**k.
  2. I love Arsenal, it always makes me laugh when they start losing at the end of a season. Arteta’s sad face makes it worth it.
  3. If they had a heart they wouldn’t have broadcast it in the first place. Shit song. Apart from that though, I’m over the moon that Leverkusen have done it. It’s great that someone beat the Bayern stranglehold but more than that they are a great club and it’s superb to see them win their first League title.
  4. Emery as well, he may not have been the best manager (though they never gave him much time to show it) but the racial abuse he got was awful and he didn’t deserve what he got. I fucking love that they are the ones to beat them so close to the end of the season.
  5. Shame about Hickey but there’s time between May and June for him to recover and as said above I’d have a half fit him over Patterson and Ralston right now. Good news here though, Gilmour should be fine (barring anything new! Don’t want to jinx it).
  6. The commentary has been brutal, all about how Newcastle have loads of injuries, poor Newcastle having to stay in financial fair play etc. It’s like they choose a team and decide to be fan tv for a game.
  7. Neither of the Newcastle pens were pens. Both come from basically Gordon diving.
  8. It should be tbh. Its a bit of a joke that you can shove your foot in front of a player who is kicking the ball to create contact, and then that be given as a pen.
  9. N Ireland did not look the better team by far. They did f**k all and wouldn’t even have their goal if Patterson hadn’t fucked it.
  10. Just got back home. That was the worst game I’ve watched since the last time we played Northern Ireland. It was also fucking freezing, also like the last time we played Northern Ireland. I am sensing a pattern and I hope we learnt our lesson which is to never play those boring c***s again. Well if we are going to have a shit patch, then I don’t mind it being now, as long as we can get out of soon, at least in time for Germany. I didn’t think we were awful but when we had the ball at the back, the movement from the forward players was poor, more than once Tierney, Gilmour, Patterson etc had the ball and no real options. N Ireland tackles were shocking and I hope Robertson isn’t as badly injured as he looked.
  11. This is the best post I’ve seen on this. Some of the (over) reactions have been mad.
  12. The first 70 minutes of that game were fantastic tbh and so although I wish it hadn’t been 4-0 (which was harsher than it deserved) I am not that bothered about the final score. Clarke made changes that didn’t work but since this is a friendly, that’s what he is meant to do, see what works and what doesn’t. Mainly poor Souttar didn’t work, I feel sorry for him, thank God for him that it was a friendly.
  13. You can tell the high level Robertson plays. His outlook and mentality is terrific.
  14. Tbf I think Hutton was right when he said it was more a lack of understanding between the players when the subs came on. We need to work on that but it’s not a terminal issue.
