  1. I'm sure Allan get sent off for a similar challenge last season? If I recall correctly the sending off cost us the win
  2. I'm so glad Clyde won that despite world class awful performances from King, Howie and Rennie. Add the anonymous duo of Ballantyne and Cuddihy. McCall better start picking players to influence matches in a positive manner of we're to escape the trap door. Thank God for Jordan Allan
  3. Live score so showing today's formation. WTF? Danny Lennon still manager?
  4. I went to Elgin midweek, we lost I went to Stranraer, we lost. I went midweek against Forfar, we lost. I thought f**k it I'm not going to Stenhousemuir... I'm starting to think I'm a Jonah.
  5. Do you honestly think signing 35 players, many of which are from the leagues above is sustainable over an extended period with attendances around 200? I genuinely don't think it is. It'll end at some point. Look at Gretna and Edinburgh City for example.
  6. You may be right. However the idea that football may no longer be a live spectator sport but followed on social media or on TV is a sad one. I wonder where EK will be in 20 years time after decades of mediocre league performances. I suspect their support will not come close to Clyde's current attendance. EK's money will run out eventually.
  7. East Kilbride FC 13 years old. Bankrolled by the Kean's. Few supporters. Mostly fans of the Old Firm Stadium in country park Shallow stand with five rows of seating with no back support. Empty shell of a club. Clyde are a proper historical club with proper supporters As are Cowdenbeath, Berwick Rangers and Albion Rovers. I'd be careful what you wish for. League tables should decorate who's in which league but don't pretend the fan experience is better at these empty shell clubs than at "traditional" clubs
  8. Whereas angry Queens Park supporters doff their bowler hats, dirty their spats and silence their rattles.
  9. Is it wrong that I am starting to dislike Rennie so much?
  10. Approaching halftime yesterday I had a wee chuckle to myself when the Stranraer toddlers (ultras) started singing that they wish they played us every week. I found it funny because up to that point it was still 0-0 in a match that was devoid of goals, skill and any entertainment. Why the hell would you want to watch that every week? Anyway, I suppose the last laugh was on me
  11. That will be the first time Cameron has ever squared up an opposition player.
  12. Some considered reflections on today's match from me: Two away games in a row where we've resorted from kickoff to aimless punts up the park. It's bad enough that Allan is slightly taller than a dwarf but at least punt the ball into the same hemisphere as he's occupying. Allan looks as pissed off as I do when another punt rolls out of play or into the goalkeepers arms. Is McCall afraid of real grass? Does he feel that our midfield cannot cope with a wee bobble? Elgin was exactly the same. Taking Allan off at 0-1 to be replaced by Cameron? Surely that's McCall taking the piss. McGinn was my MOTM last week. Benched this week for Lyon. Who was just... Ross Lyon (forever in my house a synonym for abysmal) King, as predicted is back to his anonymous self. Howie, has he left his footballing talent in Australia? If I see another Clyde player blindly hook the ball over their shoulder I may shit myself in fury. Parry, summed up by the predictive texts on my phone changing his name to "pussy". Rennie, hopefully I live long enough to see him once, just once, seriously challenging for a 60/40, never mind a 50/50. That police taser was really sore
