  1. If EK make it up, I would expect every home game to be all ticket. I believe the official capacity is 660. Although I agree with Possil YM. They could get more in than that. Ironically, they don't usually let fans into the terrace behind one goal. They only let us in during a league game after it got too crowded in the area to the left of the small stand and fans in the stand complained about having their view blocked. I think the crowd was 548 when we played them in the first leg of the play off in 2017 and nearly 1,700 for the game at Central Park.
  2. When we played EK in the playoffs, we were given 125 tickets for the game at KP. I would assume that Stranraer will get something similar and sell them direct to their fans.
  3. The game at K Park has to be. Not much over 600 capacity. I would have gone to one of the games, but no chance of a ticket for the first match and not traipsing to Stranraer. The second leg at Stranraer won't be all ticket. Not unless half the town decide to suddenly show their support.
  4. There isn't any narrative. Just wondering how many more attempts they would fund the challenge. Although I expect them to finally achieve the promotion this time. It must have cost a fair whack over the years. This is the eleventh season for the Lowland League and EK have put in a serious challenge for most of those seasons. There must be a point where the losses are too much, unless they get into League 2 or above and get some of the cost covered. Or are they multi millionaires? I assumed MK was chipping in as well whilst there, but they have been spending long before he arrived.
  5. I know it's not a new thing. Just wondering how long they can sustain it if they don't get into league 2.
  6. Serious question. If you don't get up (I think you will), do you think the club will cut back on the spending? Is it mostly MK putting his hand in his pocket?
  7. If you believe the rumours, then Buckie seems keen to go up this time.
  8. They could have 2 up and 2 down, making it easier and less desperate and possibly (maybe not) lessen the likelihood of a team chucking silly money at it. However, the big problem is the set-up below League 2. A lot of the teams would not want to be in the Highland League and (if you believe the regular rumours) a lot of the Highland League teams do not want promotion.
  9. I thought he was alright most games. Had an absolute mare at Broadwood though (can we still use that phrase ).
  10. I think Brechin will be doing well if they win both their last two matches. I would definitely make Buckie favourites now
  11. Well done to Zac and Robbie for the awards. Fitting that they both scored good goals as well on awards day. Can we have awards day every week .
  12. Surely not. Me thinks you are being sarcastic. I was thinking more about £400k. A poor league 2 budget is £300k to £400k. Well done anyway.
  13. And the rest. More like £300k+.
  14. Looks like Brechin will need to win the final 3 games then.
  15. 2 good goals, but the rest was embarrassing. Cannot defend, a lot of the players look like they don't want the ball. Can't do the basics.
