  1. Must say, against us anyway, I’ve not really understood the hype over Sibbald. Booted lumps out our players in a couple of the games. More impressed with Docherty and the effect he has on the team when he isn’t in it. Takes the game by the scruff of the neck and can dictate it. Other players of note that I’ve quite liked the look of who have played in that deeper midfield role: O’too - Pars. McMaster - Airdrie. Shame Scott Brown has played large chunks of the season at centre half or he probably could have ended up there. Think each of our CDM type players have all had decent wee spells/run of games but maybe not quite merit being in the TOTS.
  2. Get a scran before you get in the ground - don’t give these rats another penny (the United board that is - majority of the fans have been decent re ticket gate).
  3. Remember lads get a scran before you go into the ground! Don’t give these fuckers another penny!
  4. I’m actually astounded, I’ve left him out myself. Edited now and therefore can’t see anything other than the 4-1-3-2!
  5. Really looking forward to this now as it kick off looms! Wee jaunt up on the train and hopefully grab a few beers on route up the hill. I think it’ll be cagey and I think we’ll sit back at times and try hit on the counter, but also maybe see us have a go as the game goes on. I personally think we have a far stronger bench and better game changers on the bench than United, even more so with the couple of wee injuries they have picked up. Line up prediction: Dabrowski J Brown S Brown Murray Dick Matthews Mullin Stanton Easton Vaughan Rudden Watson could easily start alongside Murray which could push Broony back into the middle of the park. Kids get into any the boozers near or around the ground? Edited - how could I forget super Sam Stanton!
  6. I actually think it’s not too bad considering the price of a 3 course scran is anywhere you go - Chuck in a few jars too. Fairly reasonable. Have plans that weekend already or would have been all over it!
  7. We need a tennis ballesque scenario here. Announce rubber chicken protest.
  8. Thanks lads for the big bill for damages on top of the 12 points lads! Sent tonight from someone who works at the club…
  9. Sent by a mate tonight who works at the club. They’ve absolutely wrecked the North Stand toilets and some of the seats. Thousands of pounds worth of damage.
  10. Well lads, the incident at East End we were told the laddies had nothing to do with Northwest and “not Pars fans”. Unfortunately I doubt you can deny this or deflect away from any of this. Sent to me tonight by someone who works at the club. Thanks for the thousands of pounds worth of damage on top of the 12 points!
  11. Speaking to a few mates who are Pars fans, the last few occasions they have booked out O’Connells on the high street. I seriously don’t understand why the police wouldn’t guide them up by the Abbotshall and up to the away end as opposed to walking right along Links Street and past the home end. Not that it should be happening anyway but it’s a recipe for chaos.
  12. No here to gloat but wtf is that Myles c**t doing at the second goal? pea hearted c**t - hang your head in shame
  13. Watching the highlights back… Wonder if this @North West helmet will try deflect on the same levels where, the area he promotes, batters vulnerable people and that Myles c**t ducking like John Prescott being egged, for the second goal. hang your head in shame, wtf is he doing
  14. We weren’t even great and still won easy. been getting told all week about how good the boy Todd is and KRH. both done f**k all - murder.
  15. Sore one to take that last night, like others, really has me questioning whether we have the balls to last the distance. We absolutely crumbled in that second half. Momentum is a great thing in football at any level, for the first hour or so we were in complete control of that game and probably should have been out of sight in the first half. Then up pop’s the boy Bird with a cracking finish out of nowhere really. This gave the hosts a massive lift. Big Kev poor at the equaliser - not commanding enough and it’s as if he jamp straight in the air as opposed to towards the ball allowing McIntosh to nip in. The winner could have been dealt with better, we fail to clear our lines and a fizzed attempt finds Stowe at the back post unmarked (looked offside where I was stood behind the goal and haven’t watched back yet)and he tucks away. The wind did appear to pick up a little in the second half and there was wee moment of torrential rain for a minute or two - but that’s no excuse. Arbroath got back into the game and their tails up and we crumbled it’s as simple as that. If Ashcroft and Watson are now gubbed for a few weeks then I fear that’s us gubbed. Well done to Arbroath considering the hammering they took during the week, it’s a funny old league and tbh I still think are twists and turns along the way. This result will now have a few at the bottom looking over their shoulder and it means near enough every point is precious at the moment for the whole league with 10 games to play - probably a better scenario for us in honesty, because at the moment us or United don’t look like we want to win it on our own accords.
